I think the WB and UPN are in some way affiliated with Fox, correct?  If that's so, it might've been some of the same people responsible for the cancellation.  But, who knows, I guess its always possible.  It might be too late though, plus based on some things I've heard I wouldn't expect UPN to even still exsist a year from now...

Sure?  I thought they were all loosely connected, maybe partial ownership or something.  That's why certain Fox shows (like Grounded for Life, and The PJs) have ended up on those two networks, and that The Simpsons syndication reruns tend to be on one of those three networks.  I could be wrong, but I've just heard a lot that they're connected in some way.

The only relation I see between FOX and UPN is that the Fox Box gets aired on UPN, for reasons beyond me. Saturday mornings on FOX have changed to infomercials.

Well, I haven't seen all the episodes of Futurama... But i was watching FOX commercials and saw a regular Bender and a Gold Bender on the streets of New New York in a flash second that they showed it while showing all other crap for the upcoming Sunday night... The next episode is "the Farnsworth Parabox" right, so maybe that would explain seeing a Gold Bender...

Here's what TVGuide.com says==

Futurama
The Farnsworth Parabox
30 min.
Curiousity leads the Planet Express cats into a parallel universe, where they and their counterparts suspect the other is the evil version.

Hey, I just saw a full commercial for the new episode; it wasn't just a brief clip in an ad for the whole night.  It just showed scenes of the parallel versions, like gold Bender, a blue Zoidberg, and parallel Fry and Leela kissing.  I'm amazed that not only did they advertise it, they made a commercial just for Futurama.  Isn't it amazing how you can advertise something when you know it's going to be on that week and don't have to worry that it'll be replaced by a rerun of King of the Hill.

And Freaks and Geeks moved from NBC to FOX Family (which has since become ABC Family).
So your proof is useless.

Well, its not foolproof.  Networks do SELL shows sometimes.  But I know I've read some things indicating some sort of connection between the three, including in the "Ask Matt" things with Matt Roush they do weekly on Tvguide.com, and I think he probably knows his stuff....
