I have to wonder...if Slurm is only one ingridient, does the Slurm Queen naturally shit all the sugar and caffeine carefully into each can(with love)?

I was watching a Benny Hill show with my parents last night and there was a two headed dog in one sketch. I said "remember Pepper gets the pill and Rover gets the supositry" Weirdly, my mother chipped a tooth soon after *scary door music plays*

Today, when I was at Wal-Mart, I saw a guy who looked almost exactly like Zapp Brannigan.  I literally had to restrain myself from screaming.

I got Spider-man 2 for PS2 today, and during one of the fight scenes, Spidey commented...

"Now, we knock it up a notch. Bam!"  :p

This is sort of a wierd one but bear with....

I was explaining to my brother about what it means whan a cheque bounces....he sort of knew but didn't fully understand....so I used "Fishful Of Dollars" as an example....

I said you know when Fry gets his stuff reposessed cos the cheque bounced....? His money was stolen....?

He said "Finally you explained it in a way I understand...."  :p

When soda companies come up with a new giveaway where the person has to find something special with the cans or whatever it happens to be to help sell their products, it reminds me of when Fry was looking for the golden bottle cap in the Slurm cans in Fry & the Slurm Factory.

I was at the restaurant I work today doing my busboy stuff, clearing a table, and the guy at the table next to me is sitting there quoting lines from My Three Suns. "This is the saltiest thing I've ever tasted, and I once ate a bucket of pure salt." "It was only 10% above the lethal dose." It's things like that that bring a grin to my face, hearing someone I don't even know quoting a show I love.

Did you high-five him....?  :p

I was watching the Transformers movie with my bro today and there's a part where Hot Rod (TM) and Kup(TM) are under water trying to escape from a giant robotic squid....Hot Rod shoots the squid's eye and it releases a big stream of ink then swims away....

My brother and I both looked at each other and at the same time said "Woop Woop Woop Woop Woop...."  :D

But for serious, I've never heard anyone I didn't know quoting Futurama. I'd probably laugh and then enslave them e.e
I mean.. high five them..

I don't think that I've ever even heard anyone I did know quoting it.  Occasionally, someone recognizes what I'm quoting when I do it, but usually people have no clue what I'm talking about.

Oh, my brother went to a Red Rooster (chicken related fast food outlet, for any nations that don't know what I'm talking about). He ordered some regular size meal, and the girl serving him asked if he wanted it larger.
So my brother said, "Sure, knock it up a notch. Bam!"
And the girl said: "Sorry, but our spice weasel ran away."

At last! I have found my bride!

I was gonna say something to the guy but I was working and I thought I would get sidetracked. Busing tables is the kind of job where getting sidetracked isn't an option.

Just few minutes ago I saw a man that looked just like Dr. Ben Beeler, the paleontologist that discovered Seymour (also seen at the reception in THBB). The same hair, face, thick glasses...he even had the same clothes on (except the shoulder things).

For some strange reason, whenever I see a commercial for "I, Robot", I just have to say "Look out!  Land robuts!".  Also, seeing the rows upon rows of robots makes me think of Bender for some reason.  (AOI1, maybe?)

I was sitting in my friend's car today, and he had this death metal mix CD playing, and this Children Of Bodom song comes on and it sounds like the kind of music you'd hear in the background of a commercial for some retail store having a "BIG SALE!!!!", and then for some reason, the video from A Big Piece of Garbage came to mind, with the keyboard music..."Doctor, now that the garbage ball is in space, perhaps you can help me with my sexual inhibitions?" "With gusto" *Dun! Dun dun! Dun dun dun dun!*

The bus air break sound that the Planet Express ship makes whenever it lands has become so embedded into my brain,  and so familiar, that I am always listening for it on the street.
I guess that's a sort of  "reverse reminds me of" situation.
