The amazing thing is, most random words can be referenced to Futurama. Try it out. Say a random word and you will probably be able to think of something in Futurama from any episode that is linked to this word.

Second.

What about a cigar... my uncle smokes cigars, and whenever I see him smoking it brings back happy memories......he's also amazing at cards and gambles here and there and looks pretty tough as well as being pretty shrewd at times..so he fits into the character pretty damned well...
*Sigh* Bender rules!!

I saw the new movie "The Day After Tomorrow" today and the whole movie reminded me of Crimes Of The Hot....not surprising really considering the plots are basically the same....

Except that they dont dump a giant ice cube into the sea every now and again.......also they don't mention rising sea level or the extreme cold air being sucked down from the traposphere (i think it was that) or multipule tornadoes. Furthermore in the day after tomorrow the culprates aren't robots.....but yeah apart from that it's essentially the same  :p

I recently bought a huge, semi-legal compilation of old Spectrum and C64 games and I found one called "Space Pilot". Each level of the game is set in a different year (The name "Time Pilot" had already been taken) but I haven't got far enough to see if there is a Space Pilot 3000...

My friend and I were singing "Walking on Sunshine" today. Of course, now alll I can think of is Fry and singing that song. Also, at my brother's band concert thingy, they played "Danny Boy" (and God, did it SUCK!) and all I could think of was Zoidberg singing that.

I went to Atlantic City last week and i was reminded of the time Fry and Leela took Bender there to make him forget about his Religion.

Unfortunetly, it didnt work for me.

Today in school in one of my classes, there were bagels and munchkins from Dunkin Donuts set up. I kept taking all these jelly filled munchkins, and at some point I started singing "I love stealing, I love taking things..."

That just cracked me up, Lamp.  :D

A couple friends and I were fixing up one friend's bathroom over the weekend. She read "bonder" off the caulk tube and I immediately yelled, "Wait a minute...Bender's name isn't Bonder! It's Bender!" Only two of us got the reference and laughed. The third just stood there staring at us. (Worry not; we took it upon ourselves to educate the poor fool after the work was done.)

Talking to a friend last night, for some reason I couldn't stop laughing. She said, "What the hell's so funny? Oh...I know, you're on some confidence."

Which of course, only made me laugh harder.

I just heard some advertising on the radio. Suddenly the German voice of the professor made a commercial for the lottery. I was really surprised to hear this voice.

There was an old episode of one of my favorite shows, Pete and Pete, where Big Pete is doing a science report and some weird kid keeps talkin about a famous football game being shown for the first time millions of miles away from the broadcast waves just finally reaching there. It reminded me of "When Aliens Attack" with the Omicronians and Single Female Lawyer.

i was playing Metroid Prime today, and noticed that the Flying Space Pirates, when you come close enough to provoke them into attacking you, they make a strange noise. the noise sounds strangely like the pirates are saying "meatbag"

and for those of you who havent played any metroid games, space pirates are not anything like the "You know, pirates... but in space!" from Godfellas.

There's a Seattle radio DJ called Bender, though I believe his nickname is unrelated to the show.

When I was at work on Saturday, I noticed they took down one of the fans, and put up what appeared to be a new fan in the back, but it was actually just cleaned. The kid I was working with told me on Thursday night, they were ordered to clean the fans, and it took two hours for one.

Naturally, the line that came to mind was "Ha ha! Fan beats man!"

Speaking of radio stations... I was listening to a talk show and they were talking about animals and then they go to the line that Fry says in the "X-mas Story"

Fry: That's a stupid animal, you're stupid!

I was cracking up for 10 mins because of that coming out left feild like that.

When we did the spring play, before we did our performances, we'd go into the green room (actually my high school's dance studio) and we'd stand in a circle and put our hands in the middle and shout something.  Well on opening night, Heather (the director) decided we'd all go "ZAP!"  So we all did, and I couldn't stop cracking up, especially when one of my friends shouted "Brannigan!" right after that.
Also, that same friend uses Futurama quotes for his MSN screen name.
And yes, I also went to the House of Bender in Gettysburg!  I even have a picture of it in case you want to see.
Plus, I heard "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (the song Kif sings in AWITM) on the radio this morning.

You know what reminds me of Futurama?

This does. Just add a coat of seafoam green paint and a top rear tail fin, and it's all good. If new episodes were still being made, I betcha one of the writers will sneak it into the background.

At work today, someone actually used the word “symposium” in a sentence.

I had to fight the urge to blurt “I love symposia!”

Thought I'd post this here....One of the guys at my new job kept saying "Bam....!" last night when he sent out a meal or whatever(I work in a kitchen)....I didn't think much of it until he said something about a "Bam weasel" heh

I asked him if he watches Futurama and he said "Yeah I love it, Bam...!"
I corrected him on the spice weasel, but he argued that bam weasel was funnier.... :laff:

Bump diddly ump.

One of my friends sent me a picture of Scruffy reading "Zero-G Juggs" on AIM. I would say that reminded me of Futurama because you know, it is from the show. Also, another guy I have on my list(who is currently blocked for being a fuckwit) has a Scruffy icon.
