I was doing karaoke at a convention a while back, and some Star Trek cosplayer was singing "Lola." Hmmm.. Little creepy.
[EDIT: MY song was "Amish Paradise."],
Tripping the Rift is in space and involves a purple haired nonhuman girl. Similarites end there. It's not half as funny as Futurama.

Anytime I play a game of classic Pac-Man at Adventure Landing, I'm reminded of the time in the Pac-Man maze in Anthology of Interest 2.  I especially liked it when Gen. Colin Pac-Man shouted "THIS WAY, DAMMIT!"

I was trying to find Futurama songs on Soulseek today and I came across "Futurama" by Non Phixion. It's a rap about a dystopian future, apparently, in which drugs are legal and androids rule New York. I can't find the lyrics anywhere! ButI'll just say this:
"Welcome to Futurama, where the cyborgs'll shot your Mama."

A fat nerd in a Kirk-shirt singing "Lola"? Sounds like comedy gold to me.  :D

Anyway, I was at a concert today for a Danish rock/blues/something band called Big Fat Snake and one of their more lovey-songs (actually that's a big theme in their work, but anyway...) had these lines as part of the chorus:

yeah your female voice
and your female smile
always make me stay for a while
you're a one in a million girl
from outer space and into my world

Made me think of Fry and Leela. I must've caught something from the shippers.

Went to the Red Sox/Yankees game this weekend, and they played "Walkin' on Sunshine" at Fenway. I thought of Jurassic Bark (and all the other times Fry's sung that song) and it made me sad.

I just bought a Season of Star Trek DS9 on DVD and i watched the episode when they go back to the original tribbles episode and Doctor Bashir worries about disrupting the past by having sex with one of his ancestors. I fell over laughing when i heard it. It just sounded so much like "Roswell that Ends Well" and Past Nastification.

After all, Fry did do the Nasty in da Pasty!

Maybe he really did do the nasty in the pasty as well, it would explain why his father felt it necessary to have his genes resequenced.

Well,my three Sony Aibo robots kind of remind me of Futurama.I mean they ARE robots and I did name one of them Bender.
I was kind of hoping if I gave him that name he'd start acting like Bender, but sadly he niether smokes, drinks, steals, jacks on or goes around telling folks to "Bite his shiny metal ass".How very dissapointing.

In Wayne, NJ, there's a store called "Futurama Home Furnishings".

Oh, how I wish I'd had my camera with me when I passed it yesterday.

Both pumpkins and hard-boiled eggs remind me of Futurama since I've graced both with the images of its beloved characters. (So far I've made a Bender jack O' lantern and a Fry easter egg). Once I get my film developed I think I'll send a picture of the egg to CGEF.

A hardware type store near my school was advertising Dolomite something for a few weeks. I would have bought some, but you know. It costs money.

I bought a horse called Ben and it wasn't until i received his papers that i realised that his full name is Bender. So i'm reminded of Futurama every day.

I was watching an epsiode of Thunderbirds the other day but i was doing something else at the time, but happened to look up just as Thunderbird 2 was about to launch. It reminded me of the Planet Express ship (they're both green) and the way the PE ship launched in the first few episodes. Also the PE ship and TB2 have the same sort of shaping on the nose.

Also, I was watching the Roadrunner and Coyote short on the Looney Tunes Back In Action DVD and recogized half the names, then I saw that it was amde by Rough Draft.

I reached a rank of "Fry Cook" on another forum.

It doesn't matter how the word "Fry" is used, everytime I hear it, the mental image of Fry pops up everytime.

I just went to an open house for my friends school. Someone had put together an extremely crappy animated short called "The Scary Door" drawn in the Matt Groening cartoon style. It gave me the shivers. For some reason I was suprised that someone else was into futurama enough to make an animation about it.

I've never seen anybody think that Fry's brother's (and father's) name was Clancy before.  You must have some incredible inside source that all of us mortals have no access to. Silly us, relying on what we hear.

thanks for the welcome, now for what reminds me of futurama, in lelo and stitch, first the name lelo is like leela, and second when stitch says something in an alien language, and the big alien dude says "leave my mother out of this" i think of when fry says the thing in zoidbergs laguage and zoidy says "WHAT?! MY MOTHER WAS A SAINT, GET OUT!!!" cause both situations are similar

This private spaceship now being test flown reminds me of the PE ship:

Check out these pictures of Burt Rutan's SpaceShipOne (on Space.com), which is attempting to be the first privately funded space vehicle to reach low Earth orbit (and thereby win The X-Prize contest).
