the only advantage of there only being half of season 5 is that C7 probaly will show it as season 4. Instead of waiting a year or 2.

IF you start thinking in the Back to the future frame of mind then it becomes a bit more clear.
When thinking of Different times you also have to think of differnt dimensions. Theres an infinte amount of dimensions and times and possibilites. Most of these would if not be the same if the universes conception was identical. But like i said there are infinte uni........ oh no i've gone crosseyed.

After last years failed atempt at local police/lawyer dramas by the networks (only 1 survived White Collar Blue) they somehow decided that this year they would try and get some local comedy programs going.

Big Bite isnt a rip off of Comedy Inc. Channel 7 just decided to delay it until later in the year. Big Bite, Comedy Inc and Skit House are all rip offs of either Full Frontal or Comedy Company (cant remember which came first)

Oh and the only rip off show to last 3 weeks out of the 3 shows is The Chat Room. Big Bite is about to have its 3rd i think and Greeks is on its 4th or 5th.

Greeks on the roof is #1 its totally blatant and shameless.
Did anyone see Micallef, it was funny of course but its just... so......Nineish. They had Shakaya on, i turned off at that point of course. When he was on 2 it was funny because it was all sketches, now its barely worth the hour of time.

It was still damn funny, though, if only for his "Oh crap, we're on" persona.

Micallef Tonight is damn funny, but pretty much every joke is pre-prepared. I know the show's live, but it's not 'live' live... If that makes sense. Ummm, I hope you get what I'm trying to say anyway. Oh well, it DID have plenty of laughs, and I enjoyed it, even though Shakaya was on it...

And YES, I did see the first episode, but I couldn't really make a comment at the time due to the fact I had the obvious setback of not being registered.  :)

i was about to switch of when shakaya but miccallef did that "for older viewers" thing. While shakaya were "singing" they had a magician in the bottom corner of the screen.

I emailed 7 Perth and found out why they took Scrubs off:

Hi Ben

Scrubs was taken off due to extremely poor ratings.  The overwhelming response from viewers was that they didn't want to watch it at this point in time.

We hope to return it over Summer as we believe it is a very good program.

Warm regards

"We hope to return it over Summer as we believe it is a very good program."

At least in this case channel 7 can recognise a good program when they see it. If only they had realised that about Futurama.

If you look at things rationally, 7 has a pretty good line up. We should all be thankful futurama is still on. Can someone find out how the for futuramas ratings are going.

Still, keep in mind we're talking about the same network that cancelled Family Guy after just 2 episodes.

Well over here in Perth, Channel 7 only showed the first 2 episodes of Family Guy, waaaay back in 2000. This was on the fortnight before the 2000 Olympics began. After the olympics were over, Family Guy never came back on to Channel 7. Well, at least in Western Australia, anyway.

Family Guy was great, and hopefully it will make some return sometime...

anyway in the Herald Sun, in the top TV picks for today (a list of 4 must watch each day) Futurama is there! (the Tale of Two Santas episode). Although they did spell Leela as Leila, its still better than nothing!

Oh and Futurama is on in Sydney in 15 minutes.

hey!! what did I say bout boston public. Yer futurama got a good review in the west australian. It said that the first season was at times great but at times a disaster. It when on to say that the new episodes ( season 3 and 4) are good. This ep rated as 82% as apposed to roswell TEW which was 93%.

Does anyone know if SBS are showin england vs south africa tommorow.

Program Details : Thursday 29 May 2003
10.30pm - 11pm | Seven

Futurama
Anthology of Interest 2

When the Professor fine tunes his What-If Machine, Bender discovers what it would be like if he were human, Fry discovers what it would be like if life were more like a video game and Leela discovers what it would be like if she found her true home.

------

I liked Tale of Two Santas. Maybe not as good as the first santa episode, but still had some good jokes in there. I wonder if channel 7 will air season 5...

Yeah my friends really like the AOI 2 episode, but I don't.

A view it as the Treehouse of Horrors of Futurama. Not funny, not good, not worth watching...

But i'll still watch it.
