so did you like the new episode?  What are your thoughts.  I thought it was great that there was another Zoidberg ep, but he didn't seem to be as funny in other eps.

Well, I liked it... Azaria did a great job, and Bender's always fun... I think this one was a little heavy on Zoidy and Bender; the rest of the crew barely figured, and Amy didn't get any lines (though she did get to go to the Oscars...). Loved all the celebrity jokes (especially "Hey, Sylvester Stallone!")

I think whenever they try using Zoidberg all episode he becomes stale after awhile, good episode but a little slow.

One of my least favorites so far.

They had all kinds of opportunities for good LA jokes, and didn't use any of them. OK, the tar pits and the Variety cover were funny, Bender and Calculon's checkbook, Stallone, and a few other bits, but overall it was pretty unfunny, the satire was stale, and most of the plot elements and themes have already been done in the Simpsons. I mean: look out, Zoidy, he's Irish!

I'd almost rather be watching the Tar Channel.

Well, that's not true. It's still better than most of what's on TV, but for Futurama it sucked.

However, I'm looking for framegrabs of the aerial shots of Hollywood, because I really want to see what they have at the southeast corner of Hollywood & Vine (the Simpsons has done some inside jokes about the Taft Building), the LA subway (it would appear a block east of the Chinese or half a block east of Hollywood & Vine), and my house. Maybe I'll like it better if I get to see them.

Personally I thought Bendless Love was much better than this one, I'm pretty sure I laughed more and it sure had a better plot. This episode didn't have much humor, no action, and a poor plot, and crappy ending. To quote the Simpsons "WORST EPISODE EVER!" but still compared to most shows thats still damn good

This and Bendless love were the worst episodes of season3 but they can't be all great, season3 got off to a great start and its going to be hard to maintain that standard.
I'm surprised nothing happened between Leela and Fry when they were trapped together for 2 weeks.
Even if 2 people hate each other they will usually end up having sex if trapped together for more than a few days.

I thought that whole subplot of Leela and Fry being trapped was pretty lame. It could of been much funnier, and they probably should of made more of a substory with these two in this episode. I just didn't find this episode very entertaining. The Day the Earth Stood Stupid was not as funny but was still entertaining thanks to the action, and I thought Bendless Love wasn't that funny but it was still enjoyable because of a good story (Bender impersenating Flexo was fun), but Lobstertainment didn't have a strong enough story or subplots.

The subplots were pretty dull. When you look at all the subplots in The Series Has Landed, there ain't much in Lobstertainment.

Leela and Fry 2 weeks in the Planet Express Ship without doing "anything" is unrealistic to me

Who says they didn't do anything? Maybe they just agreed not to talk about it.
