Well at least the majority of the voters know what a great show it was (if this truly is the end, which as we all know and hate to admit, it most likely is).  Lets at least try to get that 83 higher, unless someone out there thinks it did jump...and if you do go to Robot Hell.

EDIT: By the way, I don't think your vote should count if you identify Leela as Layla, I mean comeon!

I don't even know how to start responding to this, so all I'll say is "Then again, FOX had to appease Matt, their Golden Goose." I couldn't help but laugh, but then I cried.  Poor Futurama.

By the way, if you want to get ticked off even more, it actually says "Lalya" instead of Leela. Jeez! Can't you tell how a name sounds and is spelled? Oh, well. But seriously, don't take it seriously, the people there are usually your average dumb idiot viewer...

Look at the page for "Married with Children", and the people blaming Katey Sagal's miscarriage for the demise of the show.

Not sure about the Peggy Bundy thing, but there are a few idiots out there who hate Billy West for continuing to star on Ren & Stimpy when its creator got fired(even taking over the original guy's voice-over role).

Some of those, like the casting decisions, made it kind of hard to jump the shark. After all, how can you peak when you're still creating the show?

Oh, and as a general rule, I ignore jumptheshark.com and the AICN talkbacks. They'll make you stupid.

Meh, I don't like jumptheshark.com.  The shark was never a match for Roy Sheider.  I can't rspect that.

You know, if Futurama didn't do it a bit of shark jumping in every episode, it wouldn't be funny.  Well, that's how I see it.  If it was a show we were supposed to take more seriously, then there'd be more to worry about.

For example Star Treck TNG.  That show jumped sharks and got consumed by them every time they did one of those bone-headed time-travel or holodeck-centered shows.

Listen to this exact quote from the page:

This guy seriously needs to get that a comedy can have drama, too. The problem with JumpTheShark.com is that the people behind the website have a good innovative use with saying when your show went downhill, it is the general public who ruins it...
