Im just kind of curious to see everyones opinion of each season. Some seasons have followed different themes, some funnier than others.

My fav. is season 1. They still had the cold opening and it was so fresh and sitcomish and funny. Of course, the other seasons are great but I like the atmosphere of season 1.

Well seeing as how I can't stop watching Season 1 on DVD, I'm going with that!

I'll pick Season three.  My Reasoning?

Parasites Lost
Luck Of The Fryish
Time Keeeps On Slippin'

I rest my case.

Season 2. It was still off-the-wall hilarious in almost every episode. Season 2 holds the belly-laugh crown. Season 3 is very good for dramatics, but there are a few stinkers ("Lobstertainment," "I Dated a Robot" ) that drag it down.

Season one is probably the worst season, although I am appreciating the episodes a lot more now that I'm rewatching them on DVD.

Season 3 had a lot of the best episodes, but it also had some bad ones, and it was too short. Same with season 4, and now 5. 2 was nice and long, and it only had like one or two bad episodes.

So it is settled! Season 2 wins.

Season 2 was the greatest, no doubt about it. No deep and emotional plots, just pure comedy  :)

It's catching on...  :D

I voted for McSeason 3.  Okay, "Cryonic Woman", "That's Lobstertainment" and to a lesser extent "I Dated a Robot" were crap, but the season also contains so many great episodes.

Agreed  :D But I guess this poll is for the seasons as Fox aired them though, because there isn't a production season 5, well not yet anyway... But out of the way Fox aired them, I'd say Season 2 because it's the longest. But I mainly know the seasons by production rather than Fox's crappy messed up order.

Out of production seasons, the way that they're getting released on DVD, I'd definately say Season 3. It has so many of my fave eps, like 'Parasites Lost' 'A Tale of Two Santas', 'Luck of the Fryrish', 'Insane in the Mainframe', 'Roswell that Ends Well', 'Godfellas'.. the list goes on. It's got a great balance of episodes too, and it's also the longest in production with 22 eps  :)

Right. If it were productions seasons, I'm not sure what I would go with.

And everyone leave I Dated A Robot alone! It's not that bad.

Even thought Futurama is my favorite show of all time. It is some-what easier to understand the cancelation of the show once you get the quality. as of this moment seasons 4 and 5 have 0 votes. Its just something to think about.

Well, season 4 and 5 are mostly the same production season. We haven't seen all of those episodes yet. It could very well be possible that season 5's remainders are awesome.

I would have voted Season3 as a production season, but season2 was better because it wasnt as broken up... almost a whole season in 1 go, therefore I voted for it.

but then Mcseason4 had "Roswell that ends well" so hmm... oh well cant change my vote...

But "season 4" is mostly 3acv episodes, and a lot of people are saying that they would vote for season 3 if it weren't broken up into several more seasons.

And season 5, can you even call it a season yet?

I'm torn between season 2 and 3.  My favorite episodes are "Problem With Popplers" and "Roswell That Ends Well".  Season 1 is great, too.  So hard to decide which is best.  Seasons 4 and 5 were/are preempted so often it's difficult to judge them.  Plus, they're so mixed up between production and aired episodes, I don't know what goes where.  I'll have to wait for the actual season 3 and 4 DVDs.

Even though Season 3 had a few really good episodes, I think Season 2 is where the show really hit its groove and ran with it.

My fav has to be 3ACV, Roswell that ends well, Parasites lost.  I dont think that there was really a 'bad' season, when you watch the episodes in production order things tie together better than the way that FOX aired them.

Season 4 is really good, and it's a shame that nobody's voted it as their favorite. It's funny, alright, but choosing between Futurama seasons is like choosing between children. If possible, I want to vote for them all.

There, I'll do it.  I am another born again Futurama fan.  I loved it when it came out, lost track of it, then fell in love with it again from the net.  But even though every season has at least one if not more amazing episodes, and probably one of lesser quality, season five is like a drug to me.  I've enjoyed every episode so far, including Less Than Hero (even though it wasn't great), but Jurassic Bark is my favorite episode of any television series ever.  And having new episodes to enjoy again after watching the past seasons many, many times, I'll go out on a limb and say the rest of the season will live up for me.

EDIT: The recent airing of The Why of Fry is starting to conform my hope!  Great episode.

Ok, fine, maybe I sound like a lame fanboy trying to come up with excuses for a dying show. But come on! If CGEF is right, we've only seen seven episodes, and tomorrow night is the season finale. That is beyond pathetic. And you can't blame anyone on the show for that. It's just FOX being a bunch of dumbasses, trying to ruin the show.

I voted for the 3ACV season.
But there's a time for me where every episode of a certain show I watch is better-than-normally-good (IE, Clone High, USA) and I can't decide which episodes I like the best. Actually, I chose 3ACV for some of the WORST eps [Well, YOU GUYS think] of the season (I Dated A Robot, Lobstertainment, Pharoh [Spelling] to Remember). Roswell was pretty good, Haven't seen Parasite's Lost. BUT I WILL WHEN CN RERUNS IT!

4ACV has some pretty good episodes, and by that I mean in 2nd place. (FOR: Love And Rocket, Leela's Homeworld, TMLH, Less Than Hero, and the entire "final" season, or what has aired of it.

EDIT: Actually, all seasons are good, I just picked 3ACV because it had really good episodes. NOT NORMALLY GOOD EPISODES. Also, I forgot to mention OTHER episodes, That have been mentioned.

2 EDIT: I actually voted for MCSeason 3. So I also voted for other great episodes (Fryrish, Cryonic Woman, Tale of 2 Santas)

I believe we're talking about McSeasons.

Yeah, it's rather difficult to judge, since they were shown out of order and out of context.

With LTH, one of my friends watching on FOX for the first time (he watches on CN all the time) didn't know that Leela was a mutant and thought that Leela's parents being mutants was a great twist. Damn Fox. And my local newspaper agrees. http://www.peelified.com/cgi-bin/Futurama/1-001730-1/

But, yeah, McSeason 2 is the best. Barely. Though MS4 and MS5 have some wonderful lines. And MS1 still has cold openings. (MS meaning McSeason)

That I do give you FishyJoe all shows should be givin the chance to air all episodes. espically if they're in thier 5th running season. FOX is full of jackass'. If "The Pitts" can have a second episode even though being such an embarassing show. Futurama without doubt deserves to finish its final season with little interruption.

Nope, that's why I coined the phrase "McSeason".  8 bite-size episodes, pre-empted by FOX's choice of dip-shit.
