So my local fox station(WXIN in Indianapolis), decided that it would rather show a horrible local weather program hosted by the station's weatherman than to show the new Futurama episode. Very, very disturbing.

Aw.... that's awful. We got off easier...only the opening credits and first three minutes were covered up with a newsflash.

I was in the same boat as you, HoosierBot. M5438 and I are both in Indiana, and we both got screwed out. (Oddly enough, I wasn't home to watch it, and planned on getting it later.) Luckily, M5 managed to 'acquire' it and pass it on to me.

So, yes, Indianapolis sucks.

I actually got to see the whole ep. here in Cleveland with no threat of interuption.  I did get screwed out of seeing Crimes of the Hot by a freak tornado.  It's always the weather keeping us Futurama fans down.

Sucks to be you man. I live in Chicago, and got to see the episode! Guess it's an Indiana thing.

My nearest fox affiliate in Seattle (I live across the line in Vancouver) has never pre-empted or cancelled a normally scheduled episode in the enire run of the show.  Knock on wood. My local Global affiliate has shown everything from the Canadian version of "American Idle" to a crappy "reality" show about the Cirque De Soleil in Futurama's time slot.  So in my neck of the woods fox is way more reliable.  I live in bizzaro world.

I missed it too, but for a different reason..there was a power failure in my area. I was so upset because I've been really good and have Every episode on tape so far..Now that's the only one I don't have...and knowing FOX they probably won't show it again. Someone please email me.

I live in that same bizzaro world.

I sometimes think that Global treats the show worse than Fox (if that's possible). I love KCPQ. They never preempt anything, I mean they show syndication of Friends and the Simpsons instead of State of the Union address and wait until 11 to show it.

I'm just happy that I don't have to worry about not seeing an episode. Thank you KCPQ

^Holy Crap!  You live in the Lower Mainland???  W00T!  Yeah KCPQ has never-ever ditched a Futurama ep.  Global seems it would rather show anything but Futurama.  Luckily Global doesn't often have anything else to show.  YAY!!! GO B.C.!
