Can anyone tell me if the Saturday evening showings of Futurama on Sky are repeats of the one from the previous Sunday? Because there I was enjoying 'Kif Gets Knocked Up A Notch' this evening when my bloody cable service cut out completely, meaning I missed the last ten minutes!    Damn you, NTL!

Good episode, too - at least, *what I saw of it* [grrrrrr]

I'm sorry to hear that, but the good news is that the Saturday evening showing of Futurama is indeed a repeat of the new ep from Sunday   :)

Of course, the fact it was an Amy-heavy episode had absolutely no bearing on your initial judgement of the episode?  ;)

Which NTL area are you in, anyways?

I get problems with SKy too even though I'm on cable.
Occasionally that blue "What's on now and next" thing appears on the bottom, then it cuts out for a few hours, pisses me off.

My PVR (like a TiVO) decided to reformat itself and erase my saved programs. Luckily, I had archived Futurama to tapes, so it's safe.
Never trust a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8000 with anything. Anything. It has often refused to record Futurama on CN. I programmed it, and a few days later, it's forgotten.

Stupid ass cable box.

Hooray! 'KGKUAN' aired on Sky tonight with no problems whatsoever, and is now safely on my tape! (Barring unexpected electromagnetic pulses, of course.)

Top episode too. Go Amy! Go Amy! (Does the 'Amy rules' dance in front of CyberKnight  :D)

Agh! My eyes!!!!   ;)

EDIT: Oh, and I have a question about Sky. Does FOX wildfeed to Sky at the same time as the affiliates in the US, or do they FedEx (or UPS, or whatever  ;)) all the episodes to them at the same time?

If the former, it would explain more understandably why Sky can't move ahead of FOX, and if the latter, we may have found a weak point for our "hostage rescue operation"  ;).

FOX's agreement with Sky probably doesn't allow them to get ahead of FOX. Like FOX's agreement with CN.
