Sounds interesting.

Also, I read somewhere on this board that if you go to TLZ and look at the Upcoming Episodes, the picture accompanying "The Devil's Hands Make Idol Playthings" is actualy a picture from "The Sting".

Sounds awesome, and it looks like Nibbler will have some competition. I just hope it actually airs, I doubt it will, but I guess we can hope  :)

i have mixed feelings about this ep.

The Good: its been indicated that this is a shippy ep. i love shippy eps

The Bad: it's about bees. Leela adopts one. I'm afraid of bees and now i have to watch a whole show about bees.

Hasn't Leela always been shown to have a soft spot for animals, especially the horribly dangerous ones?

Kryten is right. Look at the first time we saw Nibbler... He ate a cargo bay full of animals! We know he's harmless, but he didn't seem that way.

I'm just wondering if this episode will have any sort of relation to the past of the previous delivary crew, who were eaten by Space Wasps.

*I* think insects are both cool and very cute. If I could have any sort of giant arthropod I'd want one   :p

She'll no doubt only have the bee for that episode, but I think it would've been fun if leela had actually acquired more and more bizarre alien pets throughout the series. Pets that only she can see redeeming qualities in. (Not that I wouldn't want space monsters of my own)  :laff:

teenage leela was kinda shippy, i've heard the sting is supposed to be shippy and we know the why of fry is shippy. if Fox actually airs them all when they are supposed to that's 3 shippy eps in a row!

they manage it somehow. theres a pic at The Leela Zone that shows Leela clutching a picture of Fry to her chest and crying. Its posted next to the synopsis of devils hands but its actually from the Sting. So i've heard.

I got an episode description for "The Sting" from the Canadian TV Guide website (They're always at least 2 days behind in updating) and when I read what was going to happen I was, well, shocked.

Wow! seriously? I hate Fox even more for making us wait for this ep, I want to see it!    :)

edit - I guess that explains this picture that Venus was talking about earlier

edit again - now the link at TLZ has been chaged to what it should be, my picture is wrong, but I see that someone has re-posted the actual picture further down  :)

*Thought occurs*
Maybe those bastards at fox made Matt Groening kill off Fry so they would have to cancell the show [/conspiracy theory]

Eh, Fry will just turn up in some bizzare plot twist at the end of the episode. i,e.

Leela: "Oh my God Fry, where have you been?!"
Fry: "Watchin' TV. Why? Did you MISS me?
Leela: "I thought I did."
Fry: "Aww."

So what exactly is going to happen in "The Devil's Hands?"  With "Love and Rocket" and apparently "The Why of Fry" and "The Sting," it seems like Fry and Leela's relationship is going along pretty well.  Why's he going to need to do something drastic show his love for her later?

Interesting theory, but since The Sting wasn't the last episode produced, and won't be the last episode to air, I doubt Fry'll stay dead.

hmmm I cant stand insects makes me want to reach for the flamethrower n start roasting anything that moves.

As for the ep/eps that are said to be coming that are also said to concern Fry n Leela's secret romance/crush/whatever u want to call it. Its sad that they made these eps before All American Rejects became a well known band. If they had made em today they coulda added music from All American Rejects in n probably made the eps better sence most of there songs are based on romance/broken romances.

Well, I'm looking forward to this one.  :D   I love bees and my favorite Sailormoon character, for which I am named, paraded around with the bee as "her insect" in the live Seramyu shows.  Of course, not all bees are good...Like that sonuavagun who stung me and made my leg swell.
Here's an idea...
At any rate, I'm just thinking WAY out there *SHAMELESS TIM BURTON ENDORSEMENT* after scouring the net for info on the rumored stop-motion film 'Corpse Bride.'  :)
But 'The Sting' sounds really clool!
