In a DVD audio commentay, Matt Groening mentions that this would make a good title for a coffee table book, but what do you think would go in it?

Some of my favourites:
- Space Pilot 3000: The nephew detector
- The Series Has Landed: Sal's waist-mounted crate-shaker
- Love's Labour's...: Zapp's Hoverbed control
- How Hermes Requisitioned...: The slowmobile
- War is the H-Word: The wind-up Positron shooters

And of course the machine that Matt was actually talking about, but we don't want spoilers now, do we?

The death clock, and the Reverse-Scuba suit. From "A big piece of Garbage".

And that thing that looks like a desk, but is actually a plane, in "HHRHGB".

The Smell-o-scope and particular the Funk-o-meter.

The Transport Tubes! They're number one on my list of gadgets that I'd like to see. And the machine Farnsworth uses to determine who's child Kif is carrying...just because it'd be so completely stupid but useful. No more Jenny Jones "Who is My Baby's Daddy?" episodes!

The device that makes everyone sound like Professor Farnsworth, useless but awesomely funny

That big machine that makes glowing plastic noses and that produces masses of toxic waste.

Don't forget, it can do other things! Why shouldn't it?

The alltime #1,  The Stop 'n Drop suicide booth.  I also liked the Killamajig, the probulator and the angry dome.

Yeah, the angry dome rocks!   :)

Hm, can't really think right now, but I guess the FingLonger (or whatever it's called) was pretty silly.

Have you ever thought to yourself: 'So many Futurama machines/gadgets, not enough coffee table books about them...'?

Good... neither have I.

I personally think Cinnamon's Reverse-Scuba suit is up there at #1   :) (Big Piece of Garbage)

Thought that the 'Who ask' machine was a clever gag. BTW what episode was the angry dome from?

The who-ask machine is good, but my favorite machine, who is lame (by some definitions) is Bender! =)
i also love the whole idea that there arent any "machines" just robots that do jobs.  like in mothers day when all the robots go nuts and they cant do ANYTHING cuz EVERYTHING is a robot, even the toaster and the stapler.
those *HUGE* guns Zapp's guards had in LLLIS
as for what could sort of be classified, i like the chalkboard that converts what you write into Times New Roman, Zapp's death ray on the Nimbus, his handcuffs, and the truthoscope

Bender's gay-dar, and the Virtual Virtual Skee-ball game. There's no need to go THAT far from reality.

What about the animatronics from Luna Park?
1000 years of technology and it looks like crap!
