Futurama is only shown twice a week in the UK and over in America, Sunday's (might be more). I think fox should think of showing Futurama more often, and Sky One too!

5 nights a week, baby.

Also, remind me, what does CGEF stand for again?  There you'll find your answer.

Including Cartoon Network, Futurama is shown six times a week in America (on weeks when FOX pull their finger out, otherwise it's five).

Yeah, it should be on more often in the UK, but with only 58 episodes aired here so far, if Sky showed it every day we'd eventually get bored seeing the same episodes over and over again.

6 times a week, 5 nights a week. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

We can all agree that we're not getting enough of the "new" episodes.  One or two, if we're lucky, a month isn't cutting it.

It is new episodes that matter, I'm not too bothered about repeats as I'd rather watch episodes on DVD/VHS no ads then  :)

In April over here, the 3rd DVD is out! I do also think that Futurama is a great programme and should be shown more! So anyone who lives in the UK can you agree. Also any other countries what do you think?

Wrong. If you don't pay for fancy TV, then it's not on. I think the schedule said it would be on at 1:20 AM last Friday, but that doesn't really count...

How am i meant to know, i didn't see it, too late. It was after a South Park double bill. Anyway, i'd have it on DVD/PC.

However Channel 4's status is currently:
Cut S1
Cut S2
Cut S3
No S3 finale, "I Dated A Robot". Not scheduled and no sign of being aired. S3 'ended' in December.

Here in Norway the show is really showed to little. season 1 - season 3 "new" were showed in the summer 2001. And repets were showed christmas 2002. And season 4 are sheduled for the summer. It`s the ****** up TV 2 that owns the rights in Norway.

But luckley i can watch reruns on DVD season 1 and 2.

I wouldn't be so confident. Actually, TV2 even went public about half a year ago with the exact moment for when Futurama season 4 was to start (it being December 2nd 2002, at 18:00).
What we got was a couple of Family guy episodes, and a spokesman who remarked dryly: "It is not decided when Futurama season 4 will air". (I live in Bergen and went to see them myself).

Well, with the most recently announced delay to "Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles", lets tally, shall we?

March 2nd : FOX: Less Than Hero SKY: Crimes of the Hot

March 9th : FOX: Less Than Hero SKY: Jurassic Bark

March 16th : FOX: Less Than Hero SKY: Route of All Evil

March 23rd : FOX: Less Than Hero SKY: A Taste of Freedom

March 30th : FOX: Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles SKY: Kif Gets Knocked up a Notch

So by the time FOX airs a new episode, SKY will be where FOX was a month ago (before "Less Than Hero" aired). Thus placing them two episodes behind FOX. Of course, this assumes that SKY continues to air the episodes up to the point where FOX has shown them, and FOX does not suddenly get hit by a bolt of lightning which makes them rearrange their schedule.

Yes we get to see A taste of Freedom and Kif gets Knocked Up a Notch! But that's not fare that you get 4 weeks (THE WHOLE MONTH OF MARCH) seeing the same episode!!

I think we should have Futurama weekday's repeats and weekends new episodes. This is so annoying. The only way that we have Futurama on at 4:00pm we just see repeats!

I agree.
I'm from Melbourne and if we're lucky we get one episode a week at about 10.30 or 11 pm Monday night.  Channel seven is stupid to not give Futurama a chance to build up an Australian following.

Well i think: if FOX is casncelling the show because people dont watch it how the hell do they show it so little, if they want it to have more spectators then they should show it way more often  :nono:
