when the guy with the robot was mugging fry and leela, the way they ignored that fact was quite funny.

Why can't Zoidberg go out and buy some more miracle cream?  We learned that it only costs $60 but with it, you can steal the Priceless Gemerald.

And because he bought it from a travelling salesman. Who knows where that guy is now?

They could always use Professors forwards time machine and go forwards past the end of the universe yet again in a loop to the time and place where Dr Zoidberg encountered that travelling salesman...

Danny has a point - if Zoidberg's involved, no one's going to go to that much effort.

Haha, Mom doesn't have a forward time machine!

(Which is weird, she's like, got the best technology in the future... Maybe she does have one... Or lots...)

If not, I'm sure Mom would be able to bargain with the Professor though ;)...

She has the best technology available in the future, but the forward time-machines aren't mass-produced. Farnsworth's got all the craziest technology in the future.

I thought they destroyed the forwards time machine and whilst the Professor could build another in theory, his memory isn't exactly stellar.

Or he took a similar attitude towards the time machine that he took towards the box containing their own universe in "The Farnsworth Parabox": fooling around with that time machine again could have some nasty consequences, so why not leave it alone?

If he can make another Finglonger with 2 fingers on it, I think he can make another Time Machine. :laff:

He could, yes. But he might not want to. Also a Finglonger is a slightly easier invention than a time machine.

We know that he put at least 15 years of his life into inventing the time-machine without avail. I think it'd be a lot easier for him to forget how he did it (or even that he did it going by how he claims time-travel is impossible in Bender's Big Score).

I highly doubt he remembers exactly how to build the time machine. He does probably remember all the chaos it caused though, and he's been wise enough to keep the universe box out of harm's way, so I don't see him recreating it.

He could turn senile and invent another one, or he might use it to visit the Ladies of Fifty Million, so he could learn about backwards time travel, and impregnate some futuristic youthful deadringers for Cookie Kwan and Bernice Hibbert.

I want them to do another Less then Hero, when Hermes, Amy and Zoidy all get super powers too.  Besides I did think it was weird that the Zookeeper and CITIZEN SNIPS!!! found out their idenities and never bothered them again.

I highly doubt he remembers exactly how to build the time machine.

I'm sure he keeps notes of his work, instructions or at the least plans. Maybe not all the exact details as you say, but then again if invented something I would want to keep it written down for safe-keeping...

As clool as that could be, it would seem too re-hashy to me. There are so many potential original ideas, I’d rather they explored those than go with this again with different characters...

As for the Zookeeper point you raise, good point :hmpf:...

Pretty good episode, never exactly knew why it has so much love. I mean there are plenty of better episodes from Season 4 than this one.

This episode is the prime example of just how wacky Futurama can get without going too overboard (That Darn Katz!).  The short explanation as to how the Team got their powers was creative enough to satisfy me, and the acknowledgement that Bender is extremely strong was appreciated. The story of the episode was good, and I enjoyed how it all played out. I must admit that I thought this was one of the funniest episodes of Season 4, adding to it's overall score. Oh, and who can forget that great theme song? I'll give this one a nice 9/10.

The event currently going on in Worlds of Tomorrow is themed around this episode. So, if you ever wanted to see what Zoidberg would look like as a supervillain:
