I left my apartment on fire! Bender: Errr... as for me, I'm late for my LSAT's Fry: And I can't take life anymore! (jumps out the window)

You've got a point, Gocad, but I still reckon it was good.

Second. Originally posted by Zack Brannigan: Too bad the episode was an over-the-top yawnfest . . . What? I loved this episode!.. Sort of. This ep was my first Futurama ep that I watched on FOX (I watched most of it on CN) and I really loved it. Especially the New Justice Team song. The reason Leela's parents were in there was because there had to be one thing that wrapped up the episode (Zookeeper trapping Leela's Parents) and was cool at the same time (we got to see The ZooKeeper's Hideout).

*Bumped for Aussies, those who haven't seen it yet* Hah I beat Rage Dump....! Will post my review after I've seen it again, first viewing I loved it though, I thought it was hilarious.... Edit: Yep loved it even more the second time, some funny bits.... I thought "Gemerald" was clever In the theme song, singing about Fry "Not just fast, but from the past" And of course Zoidberg's "Screw you" And well done Channel 7 for not showing "Leela's Homeworld" Luckily I already knew she was a mutant from PEEL, but if I didn't I would have been confused....

You folks are nuts! (well some of you anyway) or maybe it is I who is nuts for laughing my rear off every second of this ep. the song was incredible. And it was a good usage of Bender's character to make an opportunist super hero i thought. Leela's parents weren't funny, but as Hawking Hole4001 stated, they provided needed structure to the plot.

I think that the episode was quite enjoyable, yet it went all out to be as silly as possible, so in places this will be very good (Bender's binary fighting bit and the Professor taking a nap) and in places it may well fall flat on its face (the Zookeeper, I just found him annoying). And yes, the Zoidberg joke was great, as he always usually is.

i think it was the funniest episode ever, how could people think it was boring, were too many jokes and not enough obscure nerdy comments for people to handle

i'm not into super hero stuff and as i say i thought it was funniest ep ever, you only need to know a few basic cliches, which everyone does

well maybe she's just stupid,(no offence) how can you not get leela ripping her suit, everything you need to know is in the visual, you need no knowledge of superhero stuff to get that, its not something that you have to think about, its pretty hard not to get it

What?!? I was one of the few who liked this ep?!? Odd.
I think some of the best senes came in the dialogue between the Zookeeper and Fry:
Zookeeper- THe superheroes are here, or should I say... Super Zeros!
Fry- That was uncalled for.
Zookeeper- Minion, fetch! *Bird grabs Gemerald* Fry- That seemed unnecessary.
And in teh ending credits son, ""Winners don't use drugs", ha, gotta love the cheesy anti-dug slogan bits.
But it did seem to lack something, and some bits just seemed dry, so I'd give it a B-.

Second to least favorite episode. They really could've taken this further. I think it was a little out of character, and, I dunno, it just feels like this episode is an indication that they were running out of ideas (which I don't really believe..). Anyway, it still had its moments, after all, it is a Futurama episode. Zoidy's: "Screw you!" was the best line ever. Fry's "that was uncalled for" is also awesome. Leela and Fry's costumes were clool, though I didn't like Bender's that much for some reason. Also good to see some zoo animals, just because I like how the artists draw animals in Futurama. C

Originally posted by Thoth: Yeah, but some jokes weren't really basic clishes, like leela ripping her suit, the lair, the super zeros gag, them getting out from the mayors office, clishes yes, but i wouldn't really call them basic, my girl friend for one didn't get'em. The point is that this episode is a take-off of old superhero movies. I thought it was pretty good. Funny jokes, good lines ("And I can't take life any more!" ), decent plot. Captain Yesterday, in his costume is sex-ay I rate it a B -

I liked it a lot! "Winners don't use drugs!" It was in-your-face funny, with the theme song... and the binary...and the Zookeeper... Sure, it DID seem pretty rushed, but over all it was a nice ep. "And I can't take life anymore!"

This was a great episode, particularly the song. I really don't care for Leela's parents, but they weren't that unbearable in this one.
