My idea for Futurama

I registered to this board today for the sole purpose of getting this idea off of my chest. There is often talk of making a Simpsons movie. I think Futurama would make a great movie and in addition I think that it would be great because it would follow in the tradition of star trek(being that futurama often parodies it) in that they were both cancelled only to be given new life on the big screen. Of course I would rather see Futurama picked up again by Fox and moved to 8:30 after The Simpsons, but that is not going to happen. Oh well at least I have Comedy Central to look forward to come January. -HoosierBot

Good plan, and if you listen to some people the Futurama Movie is still to be expected in the next few years. I know Matt and Co have always said they wanted a movie, but I'm not so optimistic that they will be able to get the funding and the team together again.

hmm yeah in ausie t.v Katie Sagle seems to be part of the new show 10 things hopefully we can at least have classic Leela back if thier gonna bring Futurama back. Once she signs that contract we're in!!!!

Actually,the reruns are gonna be on Cartoon Network, not Comedy Central.

Yeah... gotta be careful. Otherswise, one day, you could be turning on your TV, hoping to catch Futurama, and instead get an eyeful of... *shudeer* Gary and Mike.

Hey, I caught that on Comedy Central's Sunday night "major network cartoon drop offs" line-up. It was significantly less painful than me defecating blood, I would assume.

In order from best to worst:
Gary and Mike
Defecating blood
That new Colin Quinn show on Comedy Central that tries to be Politically Incorrect.
