I'm gonna go with every season, on the way they aired on TV (so, in 5 seasons).

Season 1

Love's Labour's Lost in space
Two words : Zapp Brannigan  :)

A Big Ball of Garbage
Great satire, Farnsworth personnality well shown, love's all the quotes about the 20th century.

Season 2

A Head In The Polls
Nice political satire, love Bender in this episode. nixon is just great to see.

The problems with Popplers
Nice subject for an episode, I love the way they did it, espicially the ending and the Ride the Walrus thing. nice to see Zapp great quotes

Season 3 :

War is the H-Word
One of my favorite if not my favorite episode. Nice take on war, and it's so close to reality. Nice quotes by everyone, espicially Zapp.

The Luck of the Fryish
Nice plot, nice Fry character developpement, and the ending is so great (as most of the characther episode, like Leela Homeworld and Jurassic Bark)

Season 4 :

Roswell That Ends Well
Nice plot, nice graphics, nice quotes, Zoidberg is funny, Fry's too, and the whole is just so great.

GodFellas
Nice take on religion, and nice messages by "God". Bender is nice in this episode.

Season 5 :

Jurassic Bark
Well, just the ending is worth 5 stars out of 5. So damn nice, awesome jobs, Never did emotions was so well interpreted in a animation show.

The Why of Fry
Nice plot, everything evolving Frystory is so well written and great.

So these were my favorites, but I love almost every Futurama episodes. Some are very weak (I dated a robot, The cryonic woman, A Leela of her Owns), but overall, so great. But in any ways, every episodes of Futurama is better than most TV shows.

Can't wait to get some more in 2008.

Jurassic Bark is definately up there on my list but it is really sad at the end. I will admit that i actually cried a little and ive only cried in like one, maybe two movies, let alone a show.

I agree with you!!! The only funny thing in that episode is Zoidberg, Zapp and some parts with Kif. Other than that it's:

   :puke:
Yes those 2 were the least best, But in my mind my least favourites are : The why of Fry , Cryonic women , 30% iron chef and the sting.

Yea Jurassic Bark was saddest but all time favourite episode would have to be uhh....

I guess The Sting
sure it might not have been the funniest but it was a very well thought episode and should DEFINITELY have been aired as the last episode.

i can't stand the sting.
It's just too abstract and mainly just focus's on repeating one thing but slighty changing it ( wake up).

I'm with shabubu on the sting.  I think it's brilliant how confusing it is until the end, then it all makes perfect sense, you can't get a story that good from any other cartoon, cept maybe the simpsons.

My god you think The Why Of Fry and The Sting are your least favourites... The Why Of Fry is one of my favourite with all of the insight into the Freezer incident and the war against the Brain etc and the main focus on Fry my fave character!

Also The Sting is a brilliant episode! How could you say these choices    :(

I second Dave B's emotion, those episodes are brilliant, there is no episode don't like, but my least favourite are those focused on kif, he's just annoying! and the worst futurama moment is at the end of 300 big boys with that nauseating woman!

The sting was a great but un-conventionnal episode in my opinion. I love the reference to the first Planet Express Crew. Nice to see things on the Leela's side, compared to the usual Fry's side.

Futurestock was a nice episode too. nice to see That Guy. Love the way they could get an small business on top only with the image of the society.

Awesome. Awesome to the max.

I second Dai's second lol the Kif related episodes are the least interesting such as Where The Buggalo Roam etc even though Kif Gets Knocked Up a Notch was ok but still Kif isn't exactly a star character in the show... from Zap's mouth: "Meak, scrawny uninteresting, spare me your life story..."   :laff:

There was some good moments in That's Lobstertainement, but it wasn't my favorite Zoidberg related episode. A Taste of Freedom was better in my opinion. And of course Why must I Be a Crustacean in Love  :)

One of my favorite episodes is "I Second That Emotion". It's chock full of amazing moments... "Here's to our old friend Nibler... Who has gone to where I hope someday to go... The toilet." and the rat poison gag was classic... Least favorite episode... maybe "Bend Her"?

001001001001 : Yeah, it was a great episode. A good, funny episode. Greatest quote : "Bender ! BENDER ! Have you seen my sombrero ?"

I somewhat classify Futurama in 3 differents types : emotionnaly charged episodes, funny episodes, satiric episodes. Of course many times, those 3 are combined, which make Futurama so uniquely fun !

I don't really think that I'd be able to pick an absolute favorite Futurama episode, but I really enjoyed The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings. I also like War is the H-Word, because it's the first episode I ever saw.

Hmmm... how comes I just don't like (the whole concept of) AOI? Don't I get them? Am I nuts because I don't like The Simpsons' Treehouse Stories either?
(OK, I like the part with the VP Action Rangers because the characters are great.)

As for my top episodes: (not in any order)

Roswell that ends well
A Tale of two Santas
The Farnsworth Parabox
Branniganm begin again
Less than Hero
Bender should not be allowed on TV
A fishful of Dollars

And the episodes I really don't like:
AOI 1
AOI 2
The cryonic woman
I dated a robot
Bendless love

1. Double posting = bad

2. There were 4 production seasons, but Fox showed it as 5 seasons. How you refrence them is a matter of opinion. (PEEL uses production seasons.)

3. The best you could come up with in season 4 was Spanish Fry?!?!?!?!?! I don't ask for a shipper episode, but my God!

Best episode ever; hands down has to be The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings. It has everything laughter, sadness and happiness, all rolled into one final episode, plus the ending doesn't quite end the series, but leaves it open for more episodes.

Hey, i'm new to the board and i haven't read through this whole thread but i freakin' love futurama.  anyway, i could go on forever about why. i like all of the episodes so picking a favorite is hard.  some of my favorites are the ones where fry and leela get closer (the one where he writes her an opera or the one where she's in a coma and sits by her side for two weeks or the one where leela dates a jerk/fry feels unimportant- all awesome).  anyway, (sorry this is long, everybody) someone mentioned the one where fry finds his fossilized dog.  seriously, that is the ONLY episode of a television show that has ever mad me cry.  i can hardly recap that one with out tearing up.
