So a new season in the States and the season 2 DVD set in Europe, practically on the same day. Who are the lucky lobsterinas? Who are the ones forced through a fine mesh screen?

In plain English, would you rather live in America (new season) or Europe (DVD set)?

DVDs are nice and shiny, but I do have most of the eps. on uh, 'acquired', on my computer. So, if they're free, I won't have to pay for them later. So I don't get any commentary tracks or whatnot, you don't listen to those that much.

 But I want my DVDs...

I join in with Kryten's mocking.

Assuming one of my two FOX affiliates up here shows it.

I get the episodes before they air in America or at least within three days after, depending on when I meet the guy I know only as "Captain"...
And that DVD looks very interesting, I've wanted it for a long time now. It's my favorite season! So I'm happy to be a European.

I'd rather want to see Season "5", although Season 2 DVD should be a really cool alternative till March time-ish.

That doesn't really fit in.
I don't really fit in.  :p

Rule Brittania
Brittania rules the waves

hmm hmm hmm mm hmh

America's cool and all but there are a few advatages of living in England. Firstly we only have to suffer a few shows that Fox produce.
Anyway viva la internet, just so I know when you ae mocking us with seadon five aren't you technically mocking with season 4. There is no production season 5 as far as I know.

Ah, so you've heard too.  ;)

I'm region free, so the DVDs work just fine.

I also get so see the new episodes when they air, and see reruns on CN, and I can "acquire" the new episodes when they're preempted for football, or just to have them.

It's cool that in Europe we get Season Two on DVD, to put next to our Season One sets. But I'm dying for new episodes of Futurama. If only both the UK, and the US had the DVD sets and new episodes then it would be sorted, or yeah, and Australia. I guess I can always try to 'aquire' new episodes. But nothing beats watching Futurama on DVD with crystal clear picture and sound, cool menus and easy to access episodes. And the UK will eventualy get the new episeds, and by the time they've finished airing in the US and the UK, the UK will be way ahead with the DVD sets, so I'm glad I live in the UK  :)

I have a region free DVD player, so I'm getting the region 2 DVDs.  I just have to worry about how much they'll be destroyed on the way over.  Get to watch the new season too (when not pre-empted of course).

It depends on when the episodes are sent out to the Fox stations in the US. The sooner the better the chances of us getting it early. Some people were posting in the discussion threads before the episodes were aired last seasom.

How about this. If America didn't have the new Futurama seasons, then there'd be no more of your precious DVDs, you European bastards! How do ya like them apples, huh? We control your input of the show! Mwhahahaha!

So, let me get this straight, the DVDs are in order of production, meaning there will be only four of them, right? Such a thing will be good, from a economic standpoint.
