Now that much time has passed since any new futurama eps were aired, i got to wonder how loyal people actually are to the show these days. So vote your choice  :) (be honest)

Option 4 is the closest, I've seen all but one episode, series one on TV and official video, series 2 on TV and series 3 and 4 "arrived in the post". I don't have any other stuff though.

I've got all the episodes on tape, but the only merchandise I've got is the Season 1 DVD (I'll get Season 2 when it comes out) and the Simpsons/Futurama crossover comic. I'd like to have more merchandise, but none of the existing stuff (except maybe the Horrible Gelatenous Blob, which I might get) appeals to me.. It either seems not very detailed (like the die cast figures) or too retro (like the walking Bender/Nibbler/URL).  If they made things like the die cast models, but bigger and more detailed (not as toy-like as the action figures) I might get them.

I've seen all the episodes, most of them many many times. I have Season One on DVD, and I have a lot of the other episodes on tape. I'll be getting the Season Two DVD's the day they come out, and Season 3 and 4 as well, if they ever get put on DVD. I also have the 2003 calendar :) And I've got 3 big tin signs which are on my wall, both sets of die-cast figures, the metal URL wind up toy, and squishy H.G Blob, and the first issue of the Futurama comics  :) And I'll be getting all of the comics when they're released in the UK :) Definately option one.

I have only seen the episodes on C4. I have Season one on DVD and all of S1 & S2 on tape. Apart from AOI1. I have the 2003 calendar, #1 UK comic and #3-#9 Comics. I have a metal sign. I went for option 2.

Seen every single episode, múltiple times, have season 1 & 2 on VHS, season 3 &4 aqcuired through "other means", got the season 1 DVD, the season 2 set is on preorder, calendars, comics, books, I think #2 appeals most to my situation.

And if you ever question my loyalty again, I'll go Cambodian on your ass.

Downlo---er, found all but 2 episodes ("I, Roommate" and "A Bicyolps Built for Two", although we already had this conversation).

I'm still loyal to the show, but it's getting hard for me to even imagine that *new* episodes that *I've never seen before* are going to be on TV eventually. It just boggles the mind, in a way. After all, I've waited a long time for this, I think we all have, and the fact that it's going to happen just amazes me.

BTW, I think whichever episode is shown first better be damn good or we're going to rip it apart because of our expectations.  :D

Numero Uno. I try to watch every episode(when not pre-empted) and I have the calender, the DVDs and some of the other merchandise.  Loyal as always I am.

I've seen and taped every episode and will continue to do so, I have calendars and some magnets, I will buy the DVDs if I can get a region-free DVD player, and I always defend Futurama when people say they don't like it or they are not feeling it as much as other shows. So I am going with choice #1.

50/50 between option 3 and option 1 - so I voted option 3.  I've got some stuff, and I'll buy stuff if I can afford it - and at the moment I can't.

I 'm still loyal.

I voted for option 4.

I would like to buy the DVD's, but they aren't sold over here. I don't know anyone with a credit card, so I can't buy online. That leaves me but one option.

They recently started airing it again here, and this Sunday it 's the seventh episode.

i voted number 4 because i'm still loyal but you can't possibly watch the german translation.
i bought the season 1 dvd set and plan on buying the next one too, but i don't buy the rest of the stuff and therefore i thin the term "buys stuff" is a bit too mucn for me.

I try to watch every eps that airs but the way Fox is screwing with the show I sometimes miss it.

I have the first season DVD's and plan on getting all the DVD's as they are made available, and I have 'acquired' many eps.
I don't buy the toys or nothing like that tho   :p  ...

Oh! Right I forgot I got issues 6-9 of the comics  :p lol

some stats so far then.

apparantly there cant be that many people who live in the countries where the show airs, or they more or less ignore to watch it when it airs since only 12 voted that they watch it on TV.

The people that.. hum, "aquires" the episodes in computer format seems to be more, 16 so far, whereas 9 of these reports that they also buy merchandise (not just 1 season DVDs, that doesnt really count in the 2:nd choice).

lastly, 3 people are undecided. I do not believe that they are regulars of PEEL because of this.

Conclusion so far: If it wasnt for the pir8ing community, i wonder if FOX would've made as much money as they have done if no episodes had been made available for downloading.

Still, only 31 people have voted so far. This number is not even close to all the people that waltz through PEEL i believe. come on more people: Vote!

It's just, that it's damn hard to watch the show on Tv if it's never aired! I watched the 2 first seasons with religious zeal, even though it menat staying up to 1-2 am.

And now nothing. TV2Zulu promised the 3rd and 4th season sometime around september this year, now they've postponed it to spring 2003 (and then they're not entirely sure). If I didn't get the episodes through "alternative" means, I would still be stuck with season 2 knowledge. Never have seen "Parasites lost", "Luck Of the Fryish", "Roswell That Ends Well", "A Leela Of Her Own", "Leela's Homeworld", etc.

Can you imagine what that would've done to me? I would not have been the Teral you know and love, that's for sure. Well okay, the Teral you know, then.

I would love to have the show on VHS, that would rule. Much easier to bring along on skitrips, lent to a friend etc, but sadly that was not to be.  :(

Not trying to justify it, just elaborating a bit. And yes it is common practice, even people from the shows homeland do it, thanks to FOX' brilliant "Pre-emptions Builds Fanbase"-policy.

And the price for getting those eps, through a 56k modem? Holy cow of Moscow!!

Mmm... Russia Online (which I use) provide free internet in night-time (though traffic is heavily overloaded)...
But, returning to our topic:

static, Ren-TV showed all seasons. This September they showed 4th. So it seems people here can watch it on TV. So I did. I watched 2nd an 3rd seasons on TV. But then, I began to acquire eps. And I did find out that the translation was awful!!! Many English jokes were lost in Russian variant. There were also some "cuts". For example, in Godfellas they called Bender “metal lord”, which clearly means "metal god". But they cut that and in Russian they called him "lord" in meaning of "monarch". Why they did so, I don't know.
So it’s much better to watch original versions.

I've seen and taped nearly all the episodes. I've got the DVD's and plan to get the 2nd season DVD's as soon as they're out. I've got issue one of the comics and plan to get all of them as they're released  :) I haven't got any of the figures but now I've got a job again I'm going to get as many character figures as I can  :) I'm gonna vote for option 1 even though I haven't seen every episode..but I soon will  :D
