With the original creative staff and voices?  Or did they ruin it?

Edit: For anyone who didn't know, Billy West did the voice for Stimpy.

I thought at the end Billy West was doing the voices for both Ren and Stimpy.
I, like many others here, am very excited over this news. The unfortunate thing may be that it may have been too little too late. At this point Fox has created a situation where even if they wanted to it would be difficult to get more episodes. By waiting so long they have created a scenario where the only solution is failure.
What we can all do as fans at this point is to really get the publicity machine moving again and take a pro-active course of action using the Emmy win as a giant kick in the head for Fox. If you have already written to Fox I suggest continue to do so - if you have not in awhile do so. Not only through snail mail but also through email.
One other thing that I would like to look into would be to take an ad out in some trade publications. Basically it will be an open letter to those at Fox and a plea to sign Futurama up again for future seasons as well as getting better treatment for the most 'Outstanding Animated Program.' What does everyone else think about this idea?

Ren & Stimy huh? Is John K involved? I don't want to know if John K isn't involved.
He is one demented little monkey.

Remember to watch 8 to 10pm on E! today. Would be nice if someone could write a short comment on CGEF about whether they showed the Futurama part, and if so who grabbed it/what was said. (and here of course, too)

I just finished watching the receivement of the Futurama award. It was a funny speech by David X. but I was hoping that he would say something about the cancellation. Guess it was not the moment.

Even without saying anything about the cancellation, just getting the award is a gigantic fuck-you to FOX.

I wish I could have seen it.  Damn my not having cableness.  Could somebody put the Futurama part online?

From atf/DDG:

This is a huge surprise; in fact, all I have with me is my concession speech, so if it's okay, I'm going to read this, but wherever the word "lose" appears, I'm just going to have to stick the word "win" in, so bear with me.  Ladies and gentlemen, I'm sorry, and, frankly, extremely angry that we had to win tonight.  I don't mean to win my temper, but literally hundreds of people worked hard and pointlessly to produce this winning episode, including Stewart Burns, who wrote it; Rich Moore, who directed; our animators, the cast, Matt Groening, and all the writers and producers here with me now.  As you an see, just by looking at them, they're all just a big bunch of winners. Now, I say we all head down to the bar and drink until we win consciousness.  Thank you very much, everybody.

If only I had heard that advice last night.  ;) I've heard worse excuses to drink.

:laff: Funny guy that David X Cohen. I like his concession-turned-acceptance speech.
