Ooh! What about a VR experience?
God damn, you could be right. Rick & Morty got a VR game recent-ish. I can't resist anything Futurama-related, looks like I possibly might have to acquire some kind of VR headset.

That's interesting speculation, Cyber! It is inevitable that all games will eventually go down the VR path.
[Zoidberg] So, why not Futurama?

Interesting, I wonder what it could be? I'm still waiting for the original 72 episodes and first two movies on Blu-Ray, and also a complete episode guide book, but it's not looking like either will happen anytime soon, if ever...

Releasing those earlier episodes on blu-ray isn't something I see ever happening, but I'm glad that I have them on disc, whatever the format.
Hell, I'd be happy just to have official Futurama calendars available again.

Hopefully it won't just be more crossovers, but I can't help thinking that that is the most likely...

Yeah, I'd love to see another crossover. Hell, I'm glad for anything with new Futurama, whatever it is!

I'm guessing it's just going to be for the phone game.
It's already been confirmed a few times that they're going to continue adding to the game, so I highly doubt it'd be that. cyber_turnip suggested almost everything, but my addition to his plethora of ideas: seeing how there's a chance the Futurama comics are coming to an end, maybe they're gonna release a collection of every single issue?

If it was nice enough I might just buy a Futurama Comic collection of the lot, if done like the Peanuts or Calvin and Hobbes collections etc...

I was starting to think along those lines too. A new show with a Leela-esque but legally distinct lead character. If that is it, it'll be a bit of a let down...

What if the Futurama news is a full-on crossover with R&M?

Waiting is something we Futurama fans have sadly become accustomed to.

Oh, wow, that looks really interesting Sometimes as I'm falling asleep, part of my mind wonders what it would be like to drift slightly off of this timeline, to a parallel one where Futurama had a twelve or fifteen year run...

That sounds like the brightest timeline. I want to live there. ...a brand new radio play that ties into the show’s latest mobile game.
I mean, I'm excited for more Futurama in (almost) any form I can consume it, but does that mean that I'll have to play the game to gain full appreciation for the radio drama? After all of the intro stuff followed by ten consecutive minutes of "Now tap that thing because we told you so," it felt like it wasn't really a game (I was unable to make choices that had any effect, just to do as I was told), so I closed the app and never opened it again. I probably deleted it, but who knows?

It is not humanly possible for me to convey the IMPOSSIBLY deep longing that my heart has toward a slightly alternate timeline. Sometimes it eats at me to the point where it begins consuming my soul I'll stop, now. Yes, I'm very glad for any new Futurama-related thing that comes along

I think it's doable. A lot more obscure projects get funded pretty well on Patreon. Though, the voice actors would have to take quite a pay cut. And the writers... And the directors. And the composer.

Here's an interesting interview with David X. Cohen about how Radiorama came together. Apparently, TinyCo pitched a new animated episode but it would have been too expensive. Also, apparently, David X. Cohen says future podcast episodes are a very real possibility depending on how well this one goes down.

So DXC is the guest of honor on The Nerdist podcast this week ( link to stream it online, if you don't already have an app of choice for your podcast-listening needs). I'm only about 20 minutes in so far, but already DXC has shared an anecdote about the demise of the show during the Fox years of which I was unaware, so that was pretty neat. I'm not a regular Nerdist listener (I only added it to my iTunes podcast list for Radiorama), but if they keep interviewing beloved Futurama-related personalities I could totally get on board with that.
