How do you think they will end the series?

I think they will end the series by having leela and fry get married than have a baby.

Groening is more sanguine. "We certainly feel creatively fulfilled. In the past, we felt like we were canceled before our time, but this time we feel like we had a really good run, and this is a great last season and builds to a great final episode, which I'm very proud of. David Cohen describes it as a very romantic war-fest, and he's absolutely right. You see all of your favorite characters die, and some of your favorite characters find love. And as alarming as that might sound, it's very sweet."

They probably would have gotten there if the show had run for a few more seasons, though I think it'd be more likely that we'd see it in a flash-forwards to the future or in some other form such as their backwards-time-traveller son concept that David X. Cohen has mentioned a few times.

I do think a Leela and Fry wedding is quite likely but anything's possible.

The episode finds Fry (West), Leela (Sagal) and Bender (John DiMaggio) making a delivery to the moon and visiting a theme park. After a ride accident, Leela seemingly dies.

Luckily, all is well. She was trapped inside a stuffed animal. Really. The close call was too much for Fry to handle, and he announces to Bender that he's going to finally propose to Leela.

Meanwhile, Professor Farnsworth (West) invents a device that lets him travel 10 seconds into the past. Naturally, he uses it to steal money from Zoidberg. What else will you do with 10 seconds? Fry takes the time machine to steal diamonds, along with Bender.

He uses the stolen diamonds to fashion an engagement ring, which he hides in a clam. When he presents it to Leela, she reaches for the ring and the clam snaps shut, severing her hand and a bloody stump.

Next, Groening presents the second act of the finale, completely finished. Fry still has the time traveling decide and uses it to go back and save Leela from losing her hand. He proposes and tells Leela to meet him on top of the Vampire State Building if she'll marry him. When he thinks Leela misses the time she was supposed to meet him, Fry takes that as a no to the proposal and jumps from the top of the building.

However, he sees Leela approaching the building as the building as he falls and realizes that his clock is wrong due to all the time-traveling. He tries to go back and save himself by using the device, but ten seconds before, he's still falling from the building. He keeps himself in a time loop, reliving those ten seconds over and over until he loses his grip on the device and hits the ground in front of Leela, leaving a pile of blood and guts at her feet.

Are the last two episodes of season 7 actually a two parter? Been avoiding as much spoilers as I can but from what I've read, Meanwhile is it's own episode? It's just that The Infosphere says its a two part episode.

No-one is really sure about that, it was the same with 7a. That was ''supposed'' to be a twoparter as well, but in the end it wasn't. I personally don't think it will.

No-one is really sure about that, it was the same with 7a. That was ''supposed'' to be a twoparter as well, but in the end it wasn't. I personally don't think it will.

I've read nothing to indicate that it's a two parter. From what's been revealed, episode 25 has its own plot (not to mention a guest star whose role is confined strictly to that one episode) seperate to 26, and there's been no word that 26 will be extended in length or anything.

I think it's just bad phrasing. They're two separate episodes with two separate storylines, but they were both going to air together as a double episode finale at one point (much like 30th Century Fox and Naturama did last year). That plan has now been scrapped and they'll be airing on August 28 and September 4 respectively.

Not to mention the cast did a table read of the first act or two of "Meanwhile" at Comicon. I doubt they'd have done that if it was part 2 of a two parter.

A lot of us live in the UK and are up to date with the show, I suggest you watch online like the rest of us, otherwise you're gonna see lots of spoilers.

Planning on importing the USA volume 7 blu ray anyway, as its region A and B, and hopefully volume 8 will be the same and I can get up to date. Sorry to annoy you Danny!
