I don't think Twilight tends to appeal to male demographics very much, and my gf and most of my female friends are strong, self-described feminists (the best type of female friend) who rightly object to the series' glorification of an abusive relationship and the weakness of the female lead, so I really never have to interact that much with fans of it anymore. I think once you're outside of high school, you realize that shit like that really is pretty avoidable and it ceases to bother you. Though, no joke, after my first gf I made it a rule not to date another Twilight fan ever again. Not because I hated the series as much as because in my experience they tend to be too...."backwards," for me. (As illustrated by my choice of friends, I guess.)

I would hate it if they left the world frozen. I did see a thing in the episode from the preview clip where the world was covered in a pink thing, and DXC said the episode spans over several years, so I'm sure they'll fix it using some sort of time travel. I just hope we could all see Bender one last time in the final moments.

BTW, Eric Rogers is somewhat skeptical towards the fate of Futurama.

It seems less as skepticism and more as "cautious realism." I guess nobody wants to get their hopes up TOO much, and if this is the last ever installment we get, everybody sounds pretty happy with it as an ending, at least.

The episodes generally come online about noon-ish on Thursdays around here (I believe we're roughly 12-14 hours ahead of the US?); I specifically booked the day off work so I could see it sooner. Though now my girlfriend and I might be having a few people around for "Futurama finale drinks" (and pizza!), so I may very well wind up seeing it LATER than I usually do.

Oh, and just a heads-up - I will definitely be avoiding PEEL that day until I see it. Gonna stay completely and utterly spoiler-free!

I'd like to see that within the last seconds, Fry and Leela would get frozen too (I don't how that would happen). It would have finality, but probably a way to resolve the situation (well, should be) if needed later. However, I'm fairly sure there is not going to be that kind of finality in it. But, I would like an ending with a seemingly cliffhanger.

But actually getting back to a futurama discussion, I mean maybe it will unfreeze, I hope so. I mean come in Leelas parents might not be able to see her get married
But if you think about if it does stay frozen they won't have to reserve the church, pay for catering, the cake, and if they have a kid they wont have to pay for it either
But still it's better unfrozen

Agreed. I believe it was either Matt or David who in a recent interview said they're gonna leave some questions unanswered just in case the show is picked up again.
