So, Nibbler finally got room for 2 creatures in his ship? I wonder why it is all broken in the last image...
I hope too!

So, my guess is that the flashback scenes will show more of Nibbler's (and possibly other Nibblonians') time in the 20th/21st century, before he went to push Fry into the Cryo-Tube.

How does the universe’s oldest species get around? Judging by this Nibblonian ship drawing from the upcoming Futurama episode “Game of Tones,” it’s in a spacecraft as adorable as they are.
With all the sudden re-quoting of images every three posts that's going on at the moment, nobody thought to quote this off the bottom of the last page? Shame on you all. Anyhow, the Nibblonian technology looks very much like the stuff we've seen before. This pleases the continuity nerd in me, and also leads me to think that maybe there might be some good stuff coming up after all. Nibbler's species making an onscreen appearance in their role as the protectors of the universe is usually a sign of something good. I'm wondering if the battered look of the ship is simply what you get when you park it behind an NNY dumpster for more than seven minutes.

I still can't believe Mike Rowe is in charge of writing such an episode.

To be fair, not many people hated last season, except Cyber Turnip.
futurefreak greatly despised it too, I believe. I think Spacedal11 disliked it too, although that might've been Season 6. And the general reaction amongst most posters was disaproval and annoyance. (I for one still love and enjoy new Futurama as much as the old, just putting that out there.)

FATEM was a great episode, not too keen on Doohan 6 and it's locals (McZongo was cool), but overall a solid episode.

Indeed. Though I assume the locals are not really to blame on Mike, but rather the designers. The whole plot would also have worked on a world inhabited by aliens with just enough recognisable Scottish traits.

This episode seems one to look forward too. Possibly some flashbacks maybe thrown in. But to stay on the topic we are on. FATEM was a good episode, kinda strange how Fry wanted to save Mr. Peppy when in TBBOI he went on with the mission. Still was overall good as an exception of an abysmal Season 6.

God I hope so!!! I'm actually excited that "Game" will answer why Leela is the other "ONE", and why/how her and Fry are destined to save the universe. MEH... better not get my hopes up high.

Some of you may know that "The Why of Fry" is my favourite episode, so anything that looks even remotely related erects my future-boner.
I second that, "The Why of Fry" was my favourite episode, but now it's #2 on my list, anyhow GOT still excites me. *edit* Today's preview: Look alive, Nibblonian aficionados! Today we’ve got a still from the upcoming Futurama episode, “Game of Tones,” featuring not just Nibbler, but another Nibblonian by the name of Digby.

I believe that's Leela's cankle in the frame. I gotta ask, why is the episode called "Game of Tones". It has been three days of images, one of which was featured in the season preview trailer, and virtually no information has been released regarding the plot. At least it's nice to get a Nibblonian prophecy epic just a few episodes before the *sniff* series finale.

Looky here, these are tweets taken from @MTVGeek's account earlier today: Currently in a conference call with #Futurama showrunner David X. Cohen about the final(?) season of the @ComedyCentral series.
On #Futurama series finales, Cohen says that having done four so far, they've kind of gotten good at them.
The next #Futurama finale will involve Fry and Leela's wedding (for real!). Also, Seymour will return (as will your tears).
Looking at #Futurama's next three-part episode, the show will homage 70's and 80's Saturday morning cartoons in "Saturday Morning Fun Pit"
Also returning to #Futurama this season: Calculon and the Robot Devil! Plus Adam West, Seth MacFarlane, Sarah Silverman, and Larry Bird.
On #Futurama ending: "We're less depressed this time." Cohen says the end wasn't a surprise but it's always disappointing.
When asked about the changes in how people watched TV has affected the show, Cohen credits DVD sales, cable TV with keeping #Futurama alive
On a theatrical #Futurama movie, they've discussed it internally, but when they think about it, the show ends up back on TV.
While it's up to Fox what would happen with a #Futurama movie, Cohen thinks @kickstarter and crowd support could make it happen.
Cohen says #TheSimpsons changed his perspective on animation, going from a fan in grad school to a writer four years later.
On potential #Futurama spinoffs, Cohen says they've talked about a Zapp and Kif show. They've also wanted to do a standalone ep with the two
Again on the end of #Futurama Cohen says: "If it is the end, we think it'll be our best ever last season ever."
