SoylentO, I do that... Anyways
When you say the pledges to the flags anywhere, you say it in a Zapp Brannigan voice to entertain yourself, or pledge allegiange to Futurama and or any of it's charaters or items. (I do say the pladge in Zapp's voice :laff :) Also, when you start saying "honestly" like Elzar in a corny New New York accent. (I do that all the time)

....and when you have Fry's favorite song "I'm walking on Sunshine" stuck in your head!!!

You refer to your nose as a "human horn".

When you spend serious amounts of mental time wondering just where Leela's sinuses are located.

NotHAPPY!

well, leelas sinuses must be located just under her eye as her nose is very low down compared to a human nose (It only took my a few hours to think fo that).

i can one-up shiny's example - i once had a thought of how a cyclop's optic nerve would run through the brain.  also remembering my physics, a cyclops with an eye as large as leela's would be horribly near-sighted - to the degree of being legally blind without correction.

(yes, i know that leela wears a contact and uses a monocle to read)

Couldn't the lens of the eye be mutated in such a way to at least partially cancel out the nearsightedness that would occur as a result of the size of the eye?  Also, wouldn't the shape of the eye be more important than the size?  I'm not sure, I never was too good with optics.

I assume her eye isn't "really" as big as it looks...after all, if Fry's eyes aren't drawn "to scale" (they overlap each other and cover half his face from a 3/4 view, for cryin' out loud), then Leela's eye can't be that big, either.

Also...when you get into a scientific discussion of the physics of cyclopean eye structure in a "Signs that you've watched too much Futurama" thread, it's a sign that you've watched too much Futurama.

Yes.

Aaaaaaaand...if you've every used "After all, I am already in my pajamas" conversationally, it's a sign that you've watched too much Futurama.

Not that I just did so ten minutes ago or anything.

damned, somebody beat me to it - i thought that i was the first (how naive of me) to actually use physics to determine leela's visual acuity.

i have to say that i didn't hink about the sinus thing.

poor kid.  one eye, bad depth perception, endless 'one-eye' jokes, being called a 'monster' by the professor, zapp and fry constantly chasing after her.  it's a wonder she hasn't snapped...

Awww man, i just got a business studies essay back and 3 times i accidently refered to the "future of the business" as "the futurama of the business". My teacher isn't familiar with the show so i convinced him it was just a few dodgy typos.
