am I the only one who will be devastated if Futurama finish this year?  :( I mean, 140 episodes are so many but the show has still a lot to offer and not continue it will be unfair. I don't want them to do the end of the simpsons but I think it can get really well even to the ninth season without becoming boring or repetitive.  :hmpf:  :(

I do love Futurama, but I think worrying and fretting over whether it will be cancelled is pointless and counterproductive The world will keep turning, and we'll always have Futurama in DVDs or over Netflix.

Exctaly!( same when people fight about characters and shippings) but you have to admit it,is a sad new if that happens someday, personally I don't mind if Futurama finishes as long they have a very good reason and a good ending.

"netflix is not available in your country yet" dammit.
I would be very very very sad if futurama ended this year... according to me there is no good reason fir such a great show to ever end^^ I really hope fry and leela get married, and have a kid! oh how I am lookingforeward ti the new season.

Of course! This show is associated to memories and feelings for the majority of us. The show itself is special to us, whether for some escape from reality, or a rememedy for an indigence to laugh. I have always loved this show like it was a wife. It is the only obsession of any type that for me, hasn't faded away. The perennial nature of my obsession with Futurama has not only helped me regress to simpler times (Which sounds preposterous because I'm only around 15 years old), but has stored the feelings that existed at those times. It is a portal to happiness, a dimension of memory, a medicine for pain, and  photo gallery that reminds us of the past. If the show was to end, part of me would die inside. Futurama is what keeps me going through the school year. Futurama  has always remunerated me for all the hard work I put into reaching the Summer so I can reach my sweet futuristic-oblivion. Many other hardcore fans may have similar feelings, and for all of you out there that are emotionally invested, go out and go so far into debt that your Grandkids will be paying for it! Buy every piece of merchandise you can before it's too late. Because if Futurama doesn't find some shelter, it may fade away. And I will too. We all will.
