I dunno, A Leela of Her Own would still probably be in my bottom 3. Though I think Attack of the Killer Ap was by far the worst effort in the CC run.

In my opinion Neutopia was the worst - not just of the CC run but the entire series. I actually quite enjoyed A Leela of Her Own.

I've never had much of a problem with 'A Leela of her Own'. I always just looked at it as one of the episodes that doesn't stand out from the crowd. I never thought of it as a truly terrible episode.
In fact, unless I'm forgetting a few episodes, I can't recall any truly terrible episodes being in the FOX run. By terrible, I mean 'Gadda' or 'Killer App' quality, by the way. I guess that's why so many people, now including me, enjoy the FOX run more than the CC run.

Most of it is just due to Guenter.

I would personally consider Fry and the Slurm Factory or A Big Piece of Garbage to be the weakest of season one. Both made me felt like I was watching immature kids' shows.

I consider "Fear of a Bot Planet", "A Big Piece of Garbage", "Mars University" and "When Aliens Attack" to be the weakest. Not bad, just unremarkable.

Also, I thought Guenter was completely fine as a character. What's next, complaining about Bender stealing too much?

Too many jokes about bad smells for my liking... The plot was decent though, and I always love the Farnsworth/Wenstrom dynamic, but it was definitely the weakest out of the environmental episodes for me.
