* Unreal imagines the Professor staring into the what-if machine The best thing would be for the show to remain consistently high-quality, and last for 10 seasons without a noticeable drop. Then it can rest in piece and end on a high note. The worst thing would be if the show was milked to death and we had entire seasons of Neutopias, Yo Leela Leelas, and Holiday Spectaculars. Another horrible thing would be having the show recast or the death of one of the voice actors.

Oh Lord! That would be the sci-fi version of a dream! If any of the writers dares to imagine for even a picosecond that this would please the fans they should be fired ... from a cannon, into the sun!

Worst (but also could be interesting): The entire show has been a dream, but it was Fry's dream through the 1000 years he was frozen. When he wakes up in 2999 for real, everything would be much, much different.

I would love to see a Futurama-self-parody. (Let's face it..though Futurama claims to spoof certain tropes and cliches, they have come up with a lot of stuff to be ridiculed themselves ). Maybe something like "Wormhole Extreme" in Stargate. A TV station in Futurama trying to produce a series about Planet Express. I think "Avatar - The Last Airbender" did something similar with a theater play.

I could see the Omicronians trying to do such a thing as a parody, once they saw a supposedly good scenario developing.
