*sorry for the double post, but this is important enough to merit its own attention* Hold up hold up hold up!!! PATRICK STEWART IS GOING TO GUEST STAR???? Maybe he read my fan letter!! (ok I didn't write a fan letter...) But wouldn't that be sweet if they used him to voice a rival captain of Brannigan's, as we had suggested last year? Then I KNOW they're reading this forum!

Uuuh Randi, you do know we've known about Patrick being on the show for 4 months now... John DiMaggio posted a picture of himself with Patrick and DXC back in January...

Nixon... is the oposite of boring... so being a politician has been proven to produce exciting figures and characters.
Headless Agnew was pretty great too... oh, and Cheney was in that one ep... talk about good interesting designs and characterization... evil characterization it may be, lol.

Today on the Countdown, another clip! Which again, us UK-ers cannot view, so I'll ask the magical droobey on YouTube... The clip is called "Crowded Field of Candidates"...

Hm...a rather "present-y" clip, that could have appeared in any Simpsons (or Family guy, or South Park, or etc...) episode...

Alright, first off; I'm leaving PEEL for a good amount of time. I want more time with my friends, so I can still spend time with my girlfriend. (And yes, Horny Teen got his kiss! ) This clip felt like overkill to me. I just, didn't like it. A lot of things were off. Ugh. Bye everyone!

Call me the pessimist, but... You always have to have some carrot hanging there to keep some people wondering what the heck is going on with these two. That's how Billy West called F/L stuff last summer. His words are just a statement of fact: The F/L ship was created to manipulate the show fans. At least some of them. That's why F/L struggle never ends and reset button repeats being pressed again and again. Sad but true .

West's statement seemed rather like the obligatory defence towards his employer. Reading between the interview's lines, it seemed West was rather bored/nerved by "the same old routine". Sealing the deal would deprive the writers of the necessity of the predictable "putting them 99% together, and find a last second excuse to undo it". Especially with shorter Futurama episodes (and some of the newley introduced "rushed endings"), they just do not have the time/luxury for this last-second-undo any more. About the fans wondering: They might have wondered wether these two characters will end up together, but the writers already hinted/answered that question. Right now, a (non)couple status regarding two out of three protagonists is non-identifieable. That is just bad character constellation: Fry's, Leela's and Bender's special status as protagonists is often owed to the fact that their private lives are examined in detail (unusual for a workplace sitcom). Their relationship status is probably one of the most important parts of their private lives: To cut a long story short: No matter how much we know about their private life, their relationship status is one of the first things the viewer should notice.
