I am asking if anyone knows when season 5 will be aired for the 1st time?

I am asking instead if season 6 will be ever aired...      

(for season 5 I think october, but I really dunno 'cause I'm no US resident and in Italy they have still to air season 4...)

The official FOX site says fall 2002. Normally that means sometime around mid-late september. But that was also the case with season 4. So counting for pre-emptions, KOTH specials  , football overruns, etc anywhere between september and december is as good a guess as any.

Why did they have to give Futurama's juicy free time slot away to KOTH? Why? Why? WHY?!?!?!?!

I still say we kill FOX. Yeah I think it said fall time but thanks to it's exemplary policy of f*cking around with the timetable whether this is fall 2002 or not is another thing all together.

But is there no reasonable possibility that if Fox drops the show in a garbage can, another network can buy its rights and then start producing and airing new episodes? Otherwise, the possibility for Curiosity Company to produce episodes just for the home-video market? -that would be the worst option of course...

That's nothing! On C4 in England they are yet to show all season 2's eps. I hate them so much

Really? and what's the reason? at least in England you haven't translation problems...
In Italy Futurama is quite popular, not like Simpsons, South Park or Family Guy, but makes its audience... Enough to assure airing each season FoxTv produces and sells. The only thing it's they have to re-dub each season with italian voices of course, so here it "walks" one season before than US

Thanks for the info. I like that title . I wonder what that ep is going to be like when we actually get to see it. It seems like a good ending even though it doesn't wrap things up.

but it said it wont be that open-ended either so if i would make an educated guess id say that Fry and Leela _does_ get together somewhat... or maybe im just hoping...and praying... and begging...
