Aargh, last night I had a dream where Bender, Wario, Waluigi, Luigi and Mario were reenacting Half-Life! I think it's because I don't play anymore Half-Life since I've been playing Mario games.

From "Anthology of Interest II," Embassador Kong and those other video game creatures came from the planet Nintendu 64.

didn't you watched yet "Anthology of Interest II"? In the second part of this episode, Fry asks to the "What-if" machine how life were if resembled a videogame... Then there's a lot of humor about very old videogame - but also Nintendo64 is mentioned. My joke concerned this episode (the "Space Invaders" there came from "Nintendo64" planet).

- little thread off topic -

Andrea, may I ask you where are you from?
also my brother is named "Andrea", but I know that in foreign Countries (UK? Germany?) "Andrea" is generally used for females while for males there's "Andreas". (Assigning this name to females anyway shouldn't be very adequate, as it comes from the greek "andros" which means properly "man"   ;). Here in Italy it is a quite popular name and you can use "Andrea" both for males and females, but is more used by males and it's rare for famales.

You want some wierd dreams, I've got some. I've had a Futurama dream, but unfortunatly I can't remember it. I had a Star Trek dream just after "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" aired, so maybe that constitutes for a Futurama dream I've also had X-Files dreams, and God Help Me I've had other dreams that I do not want to metion because I do not want to remember that show.

sometimes I think I probably used too dreaming to be into movies I saw in real life at cinema or just situations which involved characters from tv or the big screen, but actually I can't remember none of these    :(

The theme song from M*A*S*H (Suicide is painless) reminds me of the dream I mentioned earlier in this topic.

I had a very weird Futurama dream last night and it has been bugging me all day. I think I met the voice actors from the show and I had my sketchbook and was drawing all these pictures. Then suddenly I was in a museum which I had designed on the paper in front of me. Then I rubbed out the design, everything was white and I woke up!

i had a Futurama dream last night and i even know what triggered it. Its what i get for watching a lady get hit by lightning on TLC. Anyway in my dream Leela got hit by lightning, and she was fine but she was then magnitized. Which she didn't really figure out until after bender had crashed into her and couldn't pull himself away. For the rest of the dream metel things kept getting stuck to her, or her to them depending on the size of the object. She was quite annoyed by the whole deal. i don't know how she got fixed in the end but i'm sure that she did.

I envy all you people who are lucky enough to dream about Futurama. It's like you get to watch extra episodes for free. Now if only we could record those dreams then we wouldn't have to worry about Futurama's cancellation ;)

yep! is fun! Sometimes my Futurama dreams don't really make sense but there funny, like in my lightening dream when Leela's hand got stuck to the leg of the ship, she was there for hours!

I had a dream last night where the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys run up and down a field for three hours.  I think it pre-empted my Futurama dream.

To finish off, just before i woke up comes this voice "This dream brought to you by Coors!"

You would've liked that second story from AOI2, Andrea. You are truly the biggest female gaming fan I've seen (next to Jeanne Kim, EGM staff editor). wish I can dream myself into some of those cartoon characters. I saw a Jetsons cartoon where a machine is programmed to produce certain dreams. It would be cool to have one of those lying around!

I had a strange Futurama dream last night.  I dreamt that I was watching a new episode of Futurama.  Fry wanted to join the army again, for some reason, and of course Leela decided to follow him to keep him out of trouble.

Leela disguised herself as a man, but this time without the goggles and fake beard she wore in "War is the H-Word."  She just looked like a male version of herself.  Amy kept making comments about how cute Leela looked as a guy, almost to the point of hitting on her.  This made Leela extremely uncomfortable, which in turn amused Bender and Fry.

Anyway, for some reason, there was this evil duplicate of Fry.  The real Fry didn't like the evil one, so he challenged his duplicate to a chess match, of all things.

Now I missed what happened next, because at this point in the dream, I noticed that my neighbor's cat had somehow gotten inside, and I went to put him out.  I came back just in time to see Evil Fry put Fry in checkmate.  The real Fry was mad because he was sure that the evil Fry had cheated somehow.

Then part of a wall fell over on top of Amy.  She wasn't badly hurt, but as a result of her injuries, she couldn't talk.  (I'm sure this part was inspired by the Simpsons episode where Homer's jaw gets wired shut.)  I think the evil Fry must have pushed the wall on top of Amy because she knew how he had cheated, and he was trying to shut her up.

I don't know what happened after that, because that's when I woke up.  Weird, huh?

I knew someone was going to say that.   ;)

I'd have to come up with an ending.  Why'd I have to wake up then?  I wanted to see how it was going to turn out.   :hmpf:
