A topic about the big apple. The big futuristic apple.

Personally, I wish I lived there. It's a beautiful location, and I'm glad the show's main location is set there. Some really great shots, particularly this one from The Silence of the Clamps:

They really need to explore the city more. Love seeing ships taking off and flying by in the background.

Also snapped this quick shot from the end of Bender's Game, lovely. :)

New New York is awesome.

I can't be the only one who feels sad whenever I see it in ruins in TLPJF.

I do love NNY, every scene is fantastic. In terms of Planet Express shots, I like the one at the Beginning of Insane In The Mainframe with the reflective water, the one from the beginning of The Sting (I think), and a couple from The Honking with the orange sky. Also in Xmas Story where the Planet Express ship flies through some of NNY with the Xmas tree tied to it...

I'm also a big fan of the birds eye view shot of a city street which suddenly zooms down into the sewers in Leela's Homeworld. I love the scene in Futurestocks where there's the transport tube crossing which the Planet Express ship has to give way to, in fact, the more transport tubes the better!...

Danny, seriously, pick an avatar and keep it. You're going against convention  :evillaugh:

NNY is awesome. It's clean, got tubes going everywhere, and the undesirables are kept below ground.

NNY sucks; I'm going to East West Virginia to spend my days!

I'm not sure i'd want to live there though.

Just like its previous incarnation in every disaster movie ever it seems to constantly get destroyed.

Maybe in the old skool early 3000's, but not anymore...
