As I live in Australia I haven't seen any episodes of Season 3(I think) or season 4(definately not). My question is how many episodes are in season 4 that I can expect on the eventual dvd release? Surely they won't just have four episodes for one season (as seen in the episode guide at http://www.gotfuturama.com/  ).

Welcome to PEEL, Scott_D!

Since the DVD releases apparently follow production order rather than airing order, Season 4's DVD release SHOULD be 18 episodes:

Season 1 - 13 eps
Season 2 - 19 eps
Season 3 - 22 eps
Season 4 - 18 eps

Really? I did not know that.

Actually, that's good. Less box sets I have to fork out my money for.

I wonder why the season 4 production batch has so few episodes, four less than the previous season! Maybe they wanted to make Season 4 a killer season to go out on, evident in all three superb season 4 production episodes that have currently aired  :)

More likely FOX just ordered fewer episodes, as they already had a backlog building up.

taking into account what we've seen of FOX actions (or lack thereof) so far, the PCC would seem to have a point.

There are 16 from the 4ACV series that have yet to be aired and one, "The Route of All Evil" from the 3ACV series. This will make the pseudo-season 5 for next year. If Futurama continues, every production season from here on will now be one behind from the actual season. Nice move, Fox.

I'm sure they're all broken up inside.

Actually there's 15 from the 4ACV series left.  I think.  They aired three this year, and there's 18 in total, yeah, 15's right.
