I don't think TSoTC score is that bad to be honest. Speaking of which, I noticed something about both the episodes that Eric Rogers has written (that we've seen). Anthology of Interest I (part 1) and the Silence of the Clamps both have one thing in common: Zoidberg being an unreal absolute legend. If this continues for 7ACV05, 13, an 17, then I think that'd be great.

My favourite Zoidberg moment from the entire series is from the end of A Clockwork Origin: Farnsworth: Then it's settled. Finally, a world in which I am happy to raise my son! Zoidberg: Good, cause I'm sick of him! [Closing Credits.] Zoidberg: [Over credits.] I'm serious. He's a terrible person.

I re-used the Angry Dome in a short Futurama Comic strip I did many moons ago. It was a good concept, but I agree that perhaps it's best left to rest now...
I now have high hopes for Dr Zoidberg in Season 7 if the theories above are anything to go by!...

I'm quite glad they didn't include that in the final show. No need for crude humor that's been done before ("jacking on" in 1ACV09 Hell Is Other Robots). On a similar note, it kinda nostalgically upsets me that scenes like Raging Bender's famous deleted scene featuring Mom would now easily make the show. I always loved the wonderment of finding these gems on the DVD sets and then referencing the hell out of them on PEEL (since nobody else in the real world or internet would be likely to have seen these scenes). Also, this review of the Volume Six set is interesting just because it includes The Silence of the Clamps and Yo Leela Leela as highlights of the season. Clamps, maybe, but YLL?! Really?

If by that you mean that "Yo Leela Leela" is a better episode than "The Silence of the Clamps," I agree wholeheartedly. I get that YLL is cutesy and pop-culture-y and certainly not one of Leela's shining moments...but, like, at least it has a plot that's actually worth something. What bothers me most about "The Silence of the Clamps" (in addition to not finding it all that funny) is that the second half of the episode is devoted to the crew trying to prove that a robot who is clearly not Bender is actually Bender, and wants us to in some way emotionally invest in a story that ultimately has no bearing on the lives of any of the main characters. It's just such a waste.
