I tweeted Eric Rogers about getting Patrick Stewart on the show a while ago, so I'm going to take credit for this actually happening despite them obviously having the wheels in motion before I said anything.

@Kitchelfilms Have you ever considered getting Patrick Stewart to appear on the show? I think he'd make an excellent rival for Zapp.

Actually, it really isn't. It makes perfect sense if you get into a certain mental groove. Danny thinks that Inquisitor is being far too negative about Futurama and that he should watch something crap to teach him how good Futurama is. He chose The Simpsons due to it having gotten progressively worse over the years and being a Groening animation so that it's similar enough to be directly comparable.

Not that I agree, but it's totally not a non-sequitur. It's just something you failed to think through properly.

I kind of hope Stewart is playing a guest character. It's occurred to me that there really haven't been many notable guest characters in general lately (Patton Oswalt as the giant monster being the exception), and Stewart gives really great vocal performances in other animation he's done. I'm sure a self-played cameo would be funny too, though.

Notice her excitement about seeing the final, it's either because it's super epic like Eric Rogers said, because she worked on it super hard and it took a lot more effort than a usual ep (she tweeted about this a while ago) or both.

Again, that could just be because it's the first ep. There's not a lot to speculate on from that comment unless she adds something to it.

Quickly, without going offtopic, we don't have grades in the UK, we have 'Years'. I'm currently in Year 10, I'm 15 in Feb and in Sep I will go into Year 11. Then College. In 2013 or 14 or whatever.
