Aren't half the episode titles taken from movies anyway?
Those are the ones I enjoy most, actually. My comment was made specifically towards Naturama being a season after Benderama, and its existence as a title to begin with. I wasn't too keen on Benderama, but I adjusted. Now that there's another "rama" in the mix it makes me think how many times they are just gonna give up on titles and make it sound like "Futurama".

Danny and Solid Gold Bender: See The Sting. It's a true classic and worth your time. I pretty much agree with Dorsal and Spira. Not only are the current titles about the same to me, but I just don't think they're super important, and I doubt the production staff has ever actually spent that much time on them or thought about them as much as some people here. Most likely, they select a working title until someone happens to suggest something in the room that gets a laugh. It's not a science; they're just coming up with a funny pun or else just something that gives some description of the episode's plot. It's a throwaway gag for the (relatively) low percentage of the audience that will ever see it. I posted about how I felt about 'The Duh-Vinci Code' as a title when I reviewed that episode. Mostly because I hated the title at first, but upon seeing the episode and realising that it was all about stupidity/intelligence (thus making the "Duh" relevant), I actually quite liked it.
Yeah, I remember thinking that one sounded especially amateurish, but it was quite clever in retrospect.

And to think of films from the 90s as "classics" as in, "old"... well, now I feel old too.
God, yeah I was gonna say the same thing. I was born in the 80s, but even that feels too recent to me to refer to as "classic" necessarily (since it's too easy to rely on nostalgia for those still). I also have always thought "Sleepless in Seattle" was kind of a trash film, but eh, whatevs. Not that I'm a snobby film fan/classics fan, but I would try to seek out some films older than the 1970s as well.

I'm turning 23 in a month, I'm certainly feeling old. My early twenties are rapidly coming to an end, and I haven't really begun to enjoy them yet.
Hey, I'm almost thirty and I don't have a single happy memory.

Peel is one of the few forums where I don't always feel like an ancient internet dinosaur. On another forum I go on, there are more members than here and most of them are in their teens. A few are in their early 20's, and about two members that I know of are actually older than me... I used to be one of the young ones here when I joined, now I like to think I'm middle-aged by Peel standards, but the truth is I'm probably just over that now... Some of my happiest memories in life are from watching Futurama, and from Peel which is as a result of watching Futurama ...

You win the award for most rambling, disjointed post ever. Summation - you're gonna die soon because Futurama came back from hiatus and I saw Caddyshack, yay! There, see? It can be condensed into one sentence.

You don't capitalise the beginning of your sentences, nor the self-referential "I". I therefore judge your actual or mental age to be around 14 or 15 years.

Caddyshack was a great film! Absolutely hilarious!
I didn't realise Bill Murray had it in him to be unfunny until I saw 'Caddyshack'. The film starts with a hilariously crappy puppet of a gopher digging up a golf-course to I'm Alright, a nice upbeat song. I thought I was in for a treat. Then it actually gets going and it's just a series of craptacular sketches which are held together with craptacular one-liners. There's nothing resembling a plot and nothing resembling humour. Bill Murray's subplot had potential but when the gopher is simply outsmarting him by biting his hand... well it's not exactly Tom & Jerry is it? In many ways, it reminded me of Dumb & Dumber; juvenile humour that seems to be proud of how immature it is. The difference is that Dumb and Dumber is genuinely funny. Very funny. And ironically, Dumb and Dumber is also a lot smarter. So yeah, watch Dumb and Dumber instead. Cindy Morgan is, however, a vision of beauty.
