Tnuk should make a flashing spam gif for you.

It will be interesting to see how Bender has sex with this vending machine, I imagine it'd be like all the other times, inserting jacks and whatnot...

This whole episode's logistics should be pretty interesting. I am certainly interested.

Link is getting busy and freaky with Zelda, in that order...

And after that, he's got his eye set on Malon, Nabooru and Princess Ruto, because that's how he rolls.

Thanks. Those numbers are terrific. They have to help comedy central when the show comes back. And the more eps to syndicate the better for fox.

Well, we all do. And we have at least two more seasons coming up. As long as we buy the merchandise and watch the new episodes I'm sure we'll be renewed.

Two more seasons? I thought there was only one more confirmed season. Unless you mean broadcast-wise...

It's best it doesn't turn into the next Simpsons, though.

Well one more Season yeah, but 2 if you count it as Broadcast Seasons 9 and 10... ;)

You're right, but even it does last for that long, I'm gonna stick with it until the end.

i'm tired of the simpsons whine...     in fact i think the complaints are almost as old as the show itself...    :laff:  it's still good... the xmas one a few weeks ago was awesome...  but it's been on so long it's not special anymore...  just like anything that's around a really long time...  it's natural to take for granted or lose interest

that's why i like futurama in 13 episode spurts...  i think if we had gotten 26 or so every year we'd get spoiled and eventually lose interest...  the waiting makes it more special

and i want it on as long as possible...  and there's so much more they can do here than on simpsons...

When I was a kid growing up on re-runs I could not wait for The Simpsons to return at 6pm (Because the episodes were so good) I would go up to my dad at about 11 in the morning and ask him
"Is it Simpson time yet?"

What dommyinla said, Futurama has a billion possibilities for story ideas... Sure, some of them don't work, but at least it gets that one type of story out of the way.

I like how Futurama can learn from their mistakes and how they don't repeat the same story twice, apart from when they do a time travel episode

The more time travel the better. As long as it doesn't start to get stale...

TLPJF, AW YEAH. ATPH, hm....

And they're gonna need to focus super hard on continuity if the time travel gets advanced again.

I'm sure they'll continue to make time-travel episodes at a rate of 1 or 2 a season.

But it's going to be interesting because each time they go back in time, they need a new means of time-travel that is so hard to come by that they couldn't possibly replicate it in the future.

Anyway, personally I've loved every episode of the show to involve time-travel. Even All the Presidents' Heads - although that one is, by far, the weakest.

I'd be quite happy if they left time travel for a bit, I mean it's been pointed out that there's the potential for a lot of story ideas, so why keep coming back to time travel? I'm not saying never come back, but take some time away from it before we end up with another ATPH, or something even worse!...

They need a recurring theme that's not Time Travel or AOI related...

Spin-off episodes? Like one episode a season? A Day in the Life of Morbo or something... :laff:

Fun on a Bun sounds like something to do with Bender's love for being a chef... :p

Naturama? Hm...

And Free Will was probably the working title of Freewill Hunting, as DXC released the title of Freewill Hunting less than 2 months ago...

Perhaps as part of a trilogy episode that could work, nice idea!...

As for the new Futurama episode titles, meh. None of them are very inspiring...

Sorry guys, I just like to refer to broadcast seasons. I'll start referring to 'em as 7A and 7B from now on. ;)

Also, I wonder what an hour long episode would be like. Comedy Central could move one episode of Ugly Americans.

I completely agree. Roswell That Ends Well was awesome, as was The Late Philip J. Fry...now they're just making a mockery out of it with ATPH...in itself not a bad episode, but the method used for travel I didn't like at all.

Naturama? Sounds like their token activist episode this season heh...

Also sounds like they're running out of episode titles.

Yah, ATPH was solid (IMO), but the time-travel was a little shitty. But the humor fixed the patches. (Especially the Luisa joke). :laff:

ATPH isn't that memorable to me, the thing that sticks with me the most is Fry halfway into the episode:

"Now I get it!"

Also:

"Bender bit a poo penny! Bender bit a poo penny!"

I agree, it wasn't great, but a solid 8/10 for me. I just love to laugh and the humor in this episode outdid the shitty time-travel method.

possible time travel methods

1) they find the real delorean that inspired back to the future buried in old hollywood and it actually works

2) they get sucked thru a black hole as it's getting sucked by an even larger black hole as it's sucked by the largest black hole in the universe...  then blah blah blah they moved somewhere in time

3) they fly through a rift in the space/time continuum  (caused byan explosyion caused by fry's mistake) that sends them hurdling through time...  and then they get to earth it's a different year and they have to get back by finding the same rift they came through

4) bender makes a dinner that's so bad and he uses a rare ingredient from a rare slug from the slug planet...  and this causes whoever eats his dinner to travel backwards in time based on how much they ate...  then as the food is processed through them they don't go back to the present until they poop it out

5) delivering a package to the ancient pyramids they find a previously undiscovered tomb...  inside is a time traveler that's been trapped there since the pyramids were built. he takes them to his machine buried in the rear of the sphinx and fry or someone goes along for the ride back to his futuristic time.
