reminder, the eps I AD'd on n V.6 #futurama are "Law & Oracle" (the tron ep) and "All the President's Heads" (british + doctorwho stuff!)

wow, they have deleted scenes (complete with animatic storyboard scenes) on the v. 6 dvd! RAD! #futurama

#futurama v.6 also has a "how a scene is made" mini docu that's pretty cool, too.

I still really like the future british costumes I came up with for Leela and Amy in "All the Presidents Heads" #futurama

Eric Rogers news! (what a surprise, Dan...)

Last day of work before 2012. Well, not really: homeboy just landed another script on #futurama! Bada-boing! Writing at Xmas is still a win.

So that's his 3rd or 4th script for Season 7 (I think), plus he's co-writing the mid-series finale.

Awesome! Thanks for the link. It's great to get some preview material for the next season. Though I think this topic could be merged into the "News After 6ACV26" topic.

I initially had doubts about "Bots and the Bees", but I did enjoy what I saw in the clip. It may even have potential to be a really great episode.

And if the clip makes you speculate anything else, it's that we're gonna have a lot more montages this season.

That was an odd little clip. Not unfunny--just kind of, like, off. I'm reluctant to use the word "cutesy," seeing as how I so adamantly oppose that phrase when talking about Futurama (see also: "Yo Leela Leela"), but it did at least feel kind of family sitcom-y.

It's still always cool to see new footage, though, so thanks for the link (though this probably could have gone in the news or speculation threads, like bendingunit says).

That was pretty good, what I liked:

*Montage was pretty short.
*You can really tell Bender's Son is a cross between him and a vending machine.
*The Professor is as hilarious as ever.

Also, was nice to see Sal and who I assume is the Queen of Yonkers.

Inb4 complaints about yet another montage.

I have to say, everything about that montage was very reminiscent of 'Benderama'... the content and the music.

And is that going to be Bender's son's voice or is it just a temp-track? It sounds like a temp voice to me, but I sort of hope it isn't because I'd find it hilarious if that was the actual voice.
It looks like it's going to be similar to 'Proposition Infinity' for me, by which it'll be an amusing and entertaining episode, but one that really fucks about with the show's continuity, tone and style.

Also I think they should have just brought back Amana from Neutopia rather then adding another new character.  There's something amusing about a pink fridge having the soul of a sassy black woman...

No, she's not in the clip. I don't have much issues with them bringing back Amana, but I assume the reason why they got some no-name vending machine instead of her is to give a bigger focus on Bender. But that's just me.

Eh, I don't have much problems with his voice. It sounds fitting enough for a robot child. Though it might (and probably will) annoy some.

I wouldn't worry about it guys - I'd be amazed if it wasn't just a temp voice for the animatic. But like I said, I, personally, would find it hilarious if it wasn't so I hope I'm wrong.
