Futurama has never been officially cancelled. It is "on hiatus." FOX will continue to treat it like crap until the remaining unaired eps show, then, in all likelihood, they will drop the hammer.

Check out Langly's first link--the FOX 2002 schedule--and the new show Firefly. Does this plot sound even vaguely familiar to Futurama fans?

It's the 16 old episodes they never got around showing. No new episodes in production AFAIK. (additionally there might be sunday repeats from june on)

Far Far worse, And Must be in an "I Wish" Format, And usualy wont be death, shoudl be far far worse than death, as you get to use the supernaturl to do stuff to them forever.

16 episodes for next year, same as it's always been. I'm still looking forward to the fall though, the episode descriptions sound promising!

On another note, the letter I sent to Fox was returned to me earlier this week, I wonder why it took 2 months to get bounced back?

From June 2nd on, FOX will start airing repeats on Sundays at 7PM/6C. They start off with 'Roswell that Ends Well' which got a quite good CGEF user rating of 89%. Especially for the east-coasters, this is a good chance to finally see the episode as (quote Scott O) "people like to watch running and jumping beasts on a football field instead" there.

Let's hope this is a summer-lasting thing.

there's a show by the same name produced in singapore.. i'm wondering if its the same show mentioned in Suntimes.com

Of all those shows on FOX, the only one I like is Futurama. The Simpsons and KOTH are overplayed and dull, That 70s Show sucks big time, 24 is sci-fi, and Cops is so boring.
