I think a head in the polls is the worst.

Aw, c'mon, that had Nixon in it! Nixon is funny!

My vote is for "The Lesser of Two Evils", but probably because I've only seen it once.

Agreed. Nixon's awesome. Mechas are awesome. Therefore, Mecha-Nixon thorougly kicks ass.

Lessee, worst episode... Well, Lesser of Two Evils was certainly nothing special. Raging Bender was a real disappointment, and Slurm Factory really bugged the hell out of me for some reason.

The Honking, definetly. After waiting that long for a new episode and getting howling cars. Ack.

I'd have to agree with The Honking, it was boring, and a real let-down given all the anticipation (I stayed up until 1am to download it and watch it).

However, Anthology of Interest Part 1 wasn't that great either, it was let down by the Bender one, but the other two got better (especially the whole Vice-Presidential Action Rangers bit).

Well, I'd have to say the ultimate stinker is "A Fishfull of Dollars". It felt like a standard episode of any series, not at all a Futurama episode. Standard Simpsons style crap. I'd prefer to watch the whole first season of Voyager again before watching "A Fishfull of Dollars" one more time.

Note: Leandro hates the Simpsons

How could you hate the Bender segement? It had everything... Mecha Zoidberg... Iron Giant jokes... and, most important, WE GOT TO SEE HANSON DIE!

I would say

Robot is Hell
Why must I be a crustacean in love

They just seemed shallow an not very creative

I completly agree with Kryten, anything that has the death of Hanson in it is automaticly cool, especily if its done by a giant bender!

Okay, seeing them die was nice, but there wasn't enough blood.

Also, while it is nice that they died, it is unforgivable that I had to hear them "singing" beforehand.

Probally the series has Landed was the least funny, but this is understandable since it was only the second ep.
AOI was one of the best, it had everything, Bender killing Hanson, Leela killing everyone except Fry, Fry and Leela finally do it, Fry destroys the universe, what else could you want.

Living in the UK - I don't know how you could possibly say the 'The Series has Landed' was the least funny. I was dissapointed at the first few episodes after the first one, as they didn't have me rolling on the floor holding onto my stomach in the same way. However, they were still funny. I don't think I've seen enough episodes to have a least favourite one.

I think "Why must I be a crustacean in love" or "Anthology of Interest I" are the worst episodes, but still they're quite good.

I was talking about the second ep, where they go to the moon.

Sorry - I probabaly didn't phrase myself too well. Yeah, I know the series has landed is the second episode, I was just saying, whilst it wasn't on par with the humour of the first episode, it was still extremely funny.

Damn, I hate people who get so critical and analytical of things, just watch the damn show and enjoy it as it was meant to be.

Naw, ease down. When there are so many "this is soo great" threads, one "worst" should be allowed.  :)

Well, or bad in this case, I found the last one with the Cry'o'Girl somewhat dull. But then, which show has good episodes only...

I gonna survive.  ;)

Luckily, I have this convenient database of the 5 worst Futurama episodes at hand:

5. The series has landed
4. How Hermes requisitioned his beat back
3. Love's labor lost in space
2. Lesser of two evils
And the number one worst episode, the one which I've never seen two times within the same month:
1. Why must I be a crustacean in love?

Mars University - one of the few episodes that was only funny if you're american and went to college.

Sorry Poon, got to disagree with that, it's a brilliant re-work of "National Lampoon's Animal House."

My worst episode is "MY THREE SUNS", it ended to quick.

Best 7 mins - Leela's What If (AOI 1) for obvious reasons.

Why did it end too quick? They got Fry to cry out the King. Well and that was the end of the plot.

Although I wonder what happened to the part of the King when Fry burped right after drinking him?

Yup  you're right, but I didn't find that funny either.

Mars University wasn't funny, there was precious little (if any) zoidberg, Bender's lines were way too cheesy and the end was cods! At least the monkey died!

Pauly Shore is a really annoying comedian/actor. Among his film atrocities are "Bio-Dome", "Son-in-Law", "Encino Man", and "Jury Duty". He also starred in the short-lived sitcom "Pauly".

Hold up - the monkey died in Mars University? That episode was just on Channel 4 last week and I'm pretty sure the monkey didn't die and went on to become the president of the Fox Network.

He did. It said at the end of the episode: Gunter got his MBA and went on to become President Of The Fox Network.

It also says: Fat-bot caught a computer virus in Tijuana and had to be re-booted

Fry eventually successfully dropped out and returned to his dead-end delivery job.

His job done, Bender stole everything of value from Robot House and ran off.

Leela went on one date with Dean Vernon, but he never called again.

That should easily explain why Fox keeps messing with Futurama....(I was definitly sure that some kind of monkey chose the time-slot)

But the monkey doesnt become president of FOX for another 1000 years......
So there must be someone even stupider running the show in this millenium.

wouldn't be surprised. the show producers probably smear bannanas on the Malcom in the middle contracts, but to the point. without a doubt my worst episode is space Pilot 3000, now i know i'm going to get a load of posts from people saying 'blah blah blah, first episode blah blah, founding the show, blah blah, classic in its own rights' but so what if it was the first show? that doesn't make it any funnier at all, if i think all the other eps are funny then why should I elevate that one above others? the answer? I shouldn't

Well, but what do you expect from a pilot? It has to introduce all characters and you into the story. They cant put in all the funny stuff. A pilot has to define some kind of first rules.
