I randomly laughed because I was making mashed potatoes and thought of that moment and laughed...So she asked :nono:

I can't believe how underrated this episode is. I mean, yeah it's out of character for Zoidberg with his new "badass" personality because he's usually naive and friendly, but I reckon maybe this time he got tired of being mistreated and stood up for something. The fight was pretty epic in my opinion, I really enjoyed watching it.

As for the rest of the issues I've read about in this topic, yeah maybe Bender is getting killed too much (I actually haven't noticed until I saw it mentioned here) but that's no reason to take so much point off the episode. Also I thought it was a pretty good set-up for the joke at the end ("So the moon-hillbilly who got murdered was just an innocent husband and father... HOORAY!")

They are definitely not making him the new Kenny, the key difference being that Bender doesn't REALLY die and Kenny just dies every episode and comes back to life in the next one without any explanation.

It's not underrated, but simply separated by different peoples sense of humor. I thought it was a nicely done and humerous episode. The humor in this episode was different than most other episodes, so while it really appealed to some people, it seemed untasteful and crappy to others. You'll notice the near-even split between the 6 and 8 categories. When you get episodes like this, there's gonna be a wide range of opinions from different people.

I gotta say, Calculon was fantastic at the wedding. That was my favorite part.

I know the plot isn't as strong as the very best Futurama episodes, but I thought it was hilarious. "I don't wanna hit on anybody I already had sex with," "Who likes good news, everyone?" Calculon's "testimony," Billy West (yeah, it was kind of dumb, but it still makes me laugh), "I refuse to believe anyone is happy!" "So that moon hillbilly that got murdered was just an innocent husband and father!" and, of course, "JOHN FUCKING ZOIDBERG!" Not the best episode of 6B, but to me it's the most imminently quotable.

Minor nitpicks:
The Colonel Mustard Gas joke is pretty dumb, it almost seems like a late edition, realizing there really isn't a joke in that scene, so they just threw one in
The clip from "Clampdown" (great, if obvious, song choice) doesn't include the riff anywhere in the clip.

This was my favorite episode of 2011!  Bender witnesses a Mob Hit when he was having a fling with Bella.  (wish we could have seen her and Fanny more as the show progressed)  Then Bender has to testify and gets put in the Witness Protection Program and thinks he's a cowboy on the moon!

Clamps becomes the new Bender so he can infiltrate PE.   Clamps  harrasses the hell out of Zoidberg Then they go to the moon to meet Bender.   Then it all leads to a final showdown between Zoidberg and Clamps!  Very funny episode!  Love anything having to do with the Mafia!  (not for real or course)   it was cool to see Zoidberg triumph!  Even punching bags need their moments!

Rewatching this one Netflix, and the line "these are all rusted out with snitch juice" came up, the captions said "Hoffa juice".

Am I the only one who likes the caption version better?

Interesting!  That seems to be less likely a transcription error and more likely a last-minute script change.  If I remember, I'll pull up the episode from my collection and see whether it has the same discrepancy.

Seeing Calculon and the Robot Devil having a private discussion at the wedding of Donbot's eldest daughter makes me wonder if the former was given an advance warning of the events to transpire in The Thief of Baghead/Calculon 2.0.

Or perhaps Calculon made a deal with the (robot) devil that later leads to those events!
