None. Not a single one of them. Futurama and Simpsons should not attempt to make a crossover episode, IMNSHO.

Like Matt said: "Simpsons is fantasy, Futurama is real."  What we've seen of the Simpsons (A Big Ball Of Garbage, Mars U) is enough, unless they make an appearance as a TV show (they're stil on, and fans think the last 500 seasons was utter crap compared to the classic beauty of the first 500).

Move to "General Discussion" or "It got a TV"? That is the question.

if you're talking about the comic book, go here.

So, *moved to general forum since its a futurama question about the show, and not just 'tv for the simpsons'*

I don't want any Simpsons character on Futurama.

I've already made a thread about a crossover between the two shows. Out of the choices I'll go with Professor Frink, for the same reasons as Kryten.

None.  Zero.  Kaput.

Other than the occasional "Hey look!  A pile of Bart Simpsons dolls!" that is.

As much as I hate "I agree" type posts... I agree with Teral 100% on this one.  Except as the punchline of a quick joke such as the "first 500 years vs. the last 500 years", a Simpsons appearance would serve no purpose, be distracting and not be at all funny.  Dig up that abortion of a movie "The Jetsons Meet The Flintstones" for further proof.

Joss Whedon exec produces "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and wrote "Toy Story".  Which "Toy Story" character would you like to see on Buffy?  (Yes, I know about "Angel", but the image of Buffy slaying a vampire Mr. Potato Head is funnier.)

Should Kevin Smith's Jay or Silent Bob make an appearance in the upcoming Kevin Smith written "Amazing Spider-Man" comic books?  And more importantly - why?

Cross-overs suck.  They are a pathetic attempt to draw viewers from a more popular show to boost another show's soft ratings.

Oh.... wait...............

Maybe Frink could do an appearance but there should be no Simpson based story. Simpsons based story + Futurama = desperation for episodes ideas.

That could be quite cool. (Although as a general rule no simpsons character should appear blahblahblah)

Imagine how 'hardcore' I&S could have gotten over the 1000 years Fry was frozen!

The Simpsons could be on Futurama, but only in the form of a TV show-within-a TV show. Like, the PE gang could be watching them from the couch.

Leela: "Why does that family live in an old house? And what is the point of having Calculon as a guest star?"

I&S would be the only logical choice with the PE gang watching it on the TV to give an idea of how violence has progressed over 1000 years (think Demolition Man!). None of the actual characters from the simpsons would fit in in futurama and vice versa, however the occasional mention is quite cool, say when fry went to the 20th century exhibit in LoTE
