Season 5 sounds great on the whole from the episode descriptions, but what episodes are you least looking foward to? Is there any that you couldn't give a damn about, or just aren't that interested?

The episode I'm least looking foward to is "4ACV06 Bender Should Not Be Allowed On TV". It sounds boring, especially after "That's Lobstertainment", I couldn't really care fr Benders relationship as a fan of Calculon anymore. Of course I will watch it, with the Futurama's life hanging in the balance I'll watch all I can get.

I dont know most of the season five episodes, but I'm only gonna judge the episodes after I see them, sure the descriptions might sound boring but it might turn out to be better then you think.  :)

Yes, a oneline synopsis of Fryish might make it sound bleh too, so I'm probably gonna be pleasantly surprised. But

doesn't up my hopes for the ep all that much. Could go either way, be the most hillarious ep in the entire season, but it could also be more toecringing than "Pharaoh". I'm hoping for the former, but expecting the latter.

Very true, but there must be one that you're a bit iffy about, mustn't there? :)

Crimes of the Hot just doesn't seem to pique my interest at all.

Spanish Fry sounds kind of odd, in not a good way.

And I agree with Teral about Bend Her, and Obsoletely Fabulous sounds WAY to similar to BH.

And as much as I'm looking forward to A Taste of Freedom, what kind of description is

Kif gets knocked up a notch. It could go horribly wrong if not careful. I hate Kif Heavy episodes.

There are a couple I'm not really looking forward to.. The two main ones, I think, are Less Than Hero and Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles - they both sound a bit too wacky and Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror-esque.

There are a couple that could eiter be good, or could be really bad, depending on how they're done, like A Taste Of Freedom, The Sting, Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV and the two 'upgrade' ones (surely they can't be a two-parter if they have different writers, can they?).

I think the reason that someone thought that it could be, is because it's unusual to have two Bender epidoes in a row. Fox sometimes air two in a row, but that's because they show them out of production order. The fact that, from the descriptions, both episodes sound similar and could quite possibly turn into a two part episode.

The point you raise about them having different writers is a very good one, it certainly reduces the chances. Does anyone here know if "Who Shot Mr Burns" and part 2 were written by the same person?

Yes both "WSMB I" and "WSMB II" was written by Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein.

Crimes of the Hot sounds boring to me, but who knows, it could be good. Same with the Tax Rebate episode, but I feel less confident judging it, since the description is so short and vague.

The superhero episode sounds lame, because it reminds me of that crappy Simpsons episode. But Futurama Babies sounds good(except for the new title..."Futurama Babies" is cooler).

I'm actually looking forward to Bender Should Not Be Allowed On TV. It's the final Lewis Morton-written episode, and he is sexy as hell. And Spanish Fry sounds odd in a GOOD way if you ask me.

The 3 Benderiffic episodes are not ones I am looking forward to. The Sting also sounds too wierd but it could turn out to be really good. Who knows?

The two Bender upgrade episodes could be related, as shows have had two parts of a story done by different writers before (Friends' 'The One With The Engagement' springs to mind).

I'm not really looking forward to Spanish Fry or The Sting (unless it moves on from the premise we know, I doubt that could make a whole ep). Three Hundred Big Boys (the wording suggests that it may not necassarily be money  ;)), Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles, both Bender upgrade eps, Less Than Hero, Bender Should Not Be Allowed On TV (I smell a wacky plot twist and ending a la Scully-era Simpsons) and A Taste Of Freedom could go either way.

As for episodes I am looking forward to, those would be Jurassic Bark, The Why of Fry and The Devil's Hands are Idol Playthings (but then I'm a bit of a L/F shipper).

Someone mentioned that the upcoming episodes get into more depth about the characters of Futurama, their plots and histories. If done well this could show the world what a fantastically well written show this is. On the other hand...

Hey Archie2K, I heard that too. I think David X Cohen said something like that in an interview. It means we should have some very well written episodes, plenty of storyline and plot development, and some emotion, which are all great things. I just hope they remember to add plenty of comedy to the mix as well :)
