Hi Phillip J. Fry. Welcome to the board of tomorrow!

(sorry Randi, timezones suck, don't they..   :D)

By the way, are you related to Holly J. Fry? That would make us brothers, or brothers-in-law, or something.

In Belgrade, Yugoslavia there is a great movie rental club called Homer (no, not after the Greek author!) that I am a member of, although it is not generally allowed since I am a crazy foreigner. They have all sorts of fantastic bootlegs......did I say bootlegs? I meant, legitimately obtained, yeah that's the ticket. But really, it's stolen from Sky One from satellite since it's not available from regular TV and only gangsters can afford to have satellite..... so the common man, i.e. me and my friends must resort to bootlegged copies!
But in my own home I have a region free DVD player, the first season on DVD and all the rest on VCD to satisfy my Futurama cravings. Just one taste and I keep crawling back like a bird on my belly....hey, they've been known to!

in Italy of course we have Futurama too  :)
and I particulary appreciate Italian dubbing voices (compared to originals in english)... We're at III serie; IV serie should be aired from october 2002

bye   :)

Yes, welcome to PEEL, Robotany 500. Enjoy it here.  :D

We currently don't have any regular posters from Italy. I'm not sure we ever had one, the search of the members section didn't bring up any results.

But you're here now, so that's likely to change soon.  ;)

I've used to join different forums in the past like this one - and I think "forum" system sometimes is even better than "usenet" system. Anyway I noticed that forums based on "VBulletin" engine everytime the thread you subscribed gets a new reply, all the users who posted in it in the past receive a server generated email message to remember them to follow reading the thread. If they unsubscribe the thread no mail will delivered to them as a new post is made within that thread. I suppose this feature doesn't exist on PEEL as I did not received any mail after joining this thread and new posts were written. Maybe it's because of server limitations or the bulletin engine adopted by this board.

hey, anyway this place is cool   :D

ps - yesterday I watched "A Leela of her own" in english (as I told you before, season IV will be aired in Italy only in october); I noticed that those cygnoid alien immigrants had an accent similiar to english spoken by italian immigrants...   :D  :laff:
