Last Episode Spectacular!

OK, the last episode ever to be made for Futurama. So, what event do you think should happen that would make the series impossible to go on? A marraige, death, you know. I don't have to explain every detail.

The professor discovers a nuclear bomb buried from World War 2. The crew tries to disactivate the bomb but Zoidberg accidentaly makes it to explode. All the universe is destroyed.

But that's too much like Mostly Harmless.  Of course, I see Leela and Fry as being like Trillian and Arthur.  Where's Random when you need her?

8-Bit Theater is a great webcomic, ok?  And that was an April Fool's edition that I was indeed suckered by.

By a single nuke? I would remind everyone here that beneath NNYC, a repressed subculture worships an unexploded nuclear device. Hint. Hint.

I think that as a final episode, the Prof should die peacefully, Cubert should die painfully, Amy and Kif should marry and fly off to colonise another planet, and Fry and Leela should finally submit to all conquoring love.

Then Bender should steal something really valuable, sell it, and live like a king-bot.

Nibbler should rejoin his race, and Zoidberg should finally mate, then die happy.

And at the very end of everything, at the bow out, we should see HErme's stuck in a facility of immeasurable size, rows upon rows of filing cabinets, looking for some vital piece of paperwork, abosolutely blissfully happy, a la Raiders of the Lost Ark

Then they should make a film set right beofre it, a film set right after it, and a series of films set right in the middle.

Well I was going to post my own ideas, but totalnerduk's are better. I have to agree with him . Apart from what he said, I would like every minor character to have a cameo in the final episode.

Nice ideas, total. Hermes' fate is brilliant, I can just picture it right now, perfect.

Bender gets it all. He has finally learned to cock. He then opens his own foodplace which quickly becomes very popular with the hip, cool people, who come, both for the food and to hear Bender perform with his own personal brand of folk/rock music. He makes peace with Elzar, and together they open the hip restaurant in NNY (and become filthy rich at the same time).

Kif and Amy gets married. Using the family fortune Amy runs for president of DOOP, but loses. She then settles with runing her own, highly succesfull engineering company. Kif eventually gets promoted, and ends up second in command of the DOOP fleet, outranking Zapp.

Zoidberg returns to stand-up comedy. After perfecting his style, he becomes the most popular comedian in NNY. He is then contracted by Jerry Seinfelds head to star in his new comedy show: "Zoidberg", 30 minutes of hillariousness about nothing, and the people love it.

Farnsworth finally puts that young whippersnapper Wernstrom in his place, then leaves Earth to teach at Globetrotter U.

Cubert disappears during a vacation to Valles Marineris. Nobody cares.

The Zapper keeps command of the Nimbus, but is send on one suicidal mission after another by Kif.

And just to satisfy the shippers: Fry and Leela get together, after a magic moment, ala the oxygen tank in "Love And Rocket". What they'll do I don't know, but Leela will continue to be a starship captain of some sort.

Oops, there I go again, thinking to much about these things.
