Melllvar: "I BEG TO DIFFER!" (Zaps Welshy some more) But "Fryish" is an incredible good episode, I'm just a bit surprised that it beat "Xmas Story" with such a wide margin. Does a TOTPD in "Fryish"'s honour.

Out of those choices tLotF is my easy pick. But add "The Problem with Popplers" & "Amazon Women in the Mood" and I would have had a lot harder time picking one.

Btw, for people who've just joined, the reason "Roswell That Ends Well didn't make it is because it had to go up against "The Luck Of The Fryrish" before this Poll was made.
Anyway, I'm pleased to announce that "Xmas Story" is statistically the second best episode of Futurama, ever! Now I need someone to brake the tie between "Fry & The Slurm Factory" and "Where No Fan Has Gone Before".

Indeed, I voted the luck of the Fryish. Very good sensitive emotional ending. Just like "Leela's homeworld" and "Love and Rocket".

I find it a little ironic that the most popular episode of a comedy show is an episode in which comedy is put in second place. I'm not saying I don't like it, I agree it is one of the best episodes, I just find it ironic though.

The ending was iffy? That's what made the entire episode so great! IMO, the reason why Luck of the Fryish was such a great episode, is because it's going along like normal Futurama, with the jokes, and Fry doing something silly/stupid, then at the very end, everything you thought in the rest of the episode was turned on its end, providing for a unexpected, and VERY emotional ending that takes you by suprise. The first time I saw it I was close to tears from the ending, and found myself saying to myself "It's beautiful... it's so beautful..." ala Contact. And the song to end the episode with was so perfect to use.
To sum it up, the first part of the episode was good Futurama, and the ending raised it far above the rest of the episodes.
