Ingar: "Mommy? Why are you making civilization collapse?" Mom: "Oh, I don't know. I guess Mother's Day just puts me in a bad mood." Larry: "Why's that, Ma?" Mom: (half-heartedly slaps his face) "One Mother's Day, seventy years ago, the only man I ever loved walked out on me. Some snot-eating bastards say it made me a bitter woman." Larry: "Aw, gee, Ma, you're not bitter..." Mom: "Cram it, ape!" (belts the crap out of Larry) "I haven't seen that magnificent stallion since the day he left, but if I ever see him again...I swear I'll jam a squirrel in him!" And, more specifically: Mom: "I hate Mother's Day, you snivelling pukes!" I couldn't do this without The Low-Bandwidth Futurama Site, which doesn't get nearly enough credit around here. TSN-Bot beat me to the punch, but I'll point out that Tress' other roles in Mother's Day, are Linda and Tinny Tim. In addition to Amy, Lauren Tom does Comrade Greeting Card, which I find amazing.

I'm not a big fan of this episode, it has it's moments but I really don't care for Mom or her sons. That stupid card got on my nerves too, one of my top five worst episdes, in my opinion it's the worst episode from Season Two.

Originally posted by PCC Fred: Yes, the card gets on your nerves, that's why it's so rewarding when Bender tears it up! Seeing it get torn up was great, but seeing return for the ending credits, right after the stupid monkeys really lowered my opinions of this episode.

"The thought of the Professor caressing that leathery hide makes the tapioca rise in my gullet." "Mother's Day" is an ok episode, not great, not bad, but average. The greeting card was vute, and the robots running amok was nice. The PE staff's problems after the robots started to rebel was really funny, particularly Zoidberg and the lines about fire and Pottery Barn. It was also funny to see how everything completely fell apart within hours of the robots rebellion. After, what looks like 4-5 hours, everybody's clothes was torn apart and filth was pilling up. Mom was her usual self, somewhat annoying, but actual better in this than in "A Fishful OF Dollars". Her sons was quite funny. "Okay; not great. As a result we will not destroy your planet but neither will provide you with our recipe for immortality." 7/10

Heh, yeah I loved that line too. and the cute way in which Leela was animated in those scenes
I also liked Fry's square wheels, but somehow I expected Zoidy to be the one to pull the waggon.

PEEL is older than this. About 2000, but I joined this year. I know because I was searching through threads.
