I did like "Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings" for it's take on such a classical art form as the opera. A take on theater is certainly much too similar, but I would like to see that, Shakespeare in special.
- Forming of a "Anti-Mutant" Movement after "Mutants are revolting". (After all, the civil rights movement was also not "One special event, and the matter was solved".)
- Main story outline would be "Romeo and Juliet" (if I have to tell you which characters could be used for that, you have come to the wrong board:))
- Not so peaceful Confrontations between both groups would give enough opportunity to refer to Shakespeares Battle dialogues.
Well..too close to "Devil's hand", of course, and probably a hell of a job to write (I do not mean a "White Wale -> Captain -> Yep, that's good and recognisable enough"- references, but REALLY going into detail).
But if I were a Billionaire with enough money to comission a Futurama episode, that would be the one...
