There's a song by that name (with a few Futurama references in it), it may well be the music video.

Yeah, that's what I thought was well. Everyone who likes it should definitely check out Addicted by the Devin Townsend Project. (that particular song is a lot poppier compared to the rest of the album)

Seeing the Dev in 4 days.

Anyway...I like the new cover. It's definitely striking.

Continually asking if there's any "new news" isn't going to make any "new news" arrive faster.

I fail to see why you can't just look for news yourself and then post it here anyway...

Well it is exciting, just knowing we are that much closer. Then we can get our grimy hands all over it, and glue our eyes to the television.

No word on international releases.  Only US and Canada (DVDs are generally released for both markets at the same time; never heard of once when it wasn't the case).

We could just guess, but I think like everybody else. The R2 release should be about 1-5 days after.

I'm not so confident about an R2 release, they haven't even been broadcast over here. America got The Simpsons Season 20, R2 didn't, and I have a feeling this will be much the same, at least for a fair while anyway...

That may well be the case, but I'm basing this info on the movies' releases, (which is probably quite wrong...) Haven't they been broadcast in the GB? I thought so. Sittin' in Scandinavia and watching Season 4. :p

Difference is that The Simpsons Season 20 has aired over here.  So it's hardly the same case.

Besides, why would 20th Century Fox care that much?  They are not airing it.  And from what gather, there aren't any European broadcasters queueing up for the rights to air it in Europe.  Might as well say fuck 'em, we're releasing it because you couldn't jump the gun.

Bender's Big Score was released in region 2 about 6 months after region 1. Of course, once they got their acts together with that one, the last films were all within a week or so. In fact, I think Into the Wild Green Yonder came out a day earlier in the UK than America.

So we're probably looking at another 6 month wait, but volume 6 might get released sooner because they'll have figured out who's doing what by then.

My case was that they are more likely to release something which has aired over here than hasn't, yet even though The Simpsons Season 20 has aired over here, they didn't release it, so let alone Futurama Volume 5. Of course both The Simpsons Season 20 and Futurama Volume 5 will come out here one day, that's inevitable...

Rather the reverse actually.  It is a market untapped.  And if the broadcasters won't step up, I am sure 20th Century Fox.

Well, if we look back to the release of the movies, ITWGY aired something like 6 months after the DVD here in the UK, and the Bender's Game DVD came out a year before it aired in the UK.

Apparently John DiMaggio is in Melbourne right now for Armageddon, which is today and tomorrow. I won't be there given I'm in Sydney and only just learned of it. But here's an in-character radio interview with Bender you may be interested in.

I'm hoping that in region 2 and 4 they just keep it as volume 5 (like they've been doing with the American Dad DVDs) rather than changing it to season 5, as I doubt they'd change it to season 6.
