I assume by 'excited' you mean 'warm and fuzzy'.

No TOTP context there, Svip?
And of course being excited and being warm and fuzzy are the same thing. Don't you know a thing about women?

Yeah, me too, dude. Unfortunately, we are relying on the same information as everyone else and we aren't about to make things up.

I wish The Infosphere would have better synopsises before the episode airs.
*facepalm yet again* For the love of God, Kurt....

I wish for eternal happiness, but for now I'll have to make do with new Futurama...

another, more positive, review on Neutopia. (moderate spoilers)
That seems to be the other half of where I figured the episode would actually fall in line. However... did the writer of this article not realize that Futurama hasn't been off the air for 8 years, or did they deliberately ignore that fact.... or did I not read the article? Yeah, me too, dude. Unfortunately, we are relying on the same information as everyone else and we aren't about to make things up.
You want me to pretend to be a source and make stuff up for you? One is to create a girlie calendar with the female employees, which might work if they could find a place where the years were only three months long, since the company employs only three women.
Three women? Who is the third woman employed at PE?
For a second I thought you were Mango. Anyways, there isn't a third woman employed technically at PE, but they're referring to Labarbara. If I mispelled that, I don't care.

So like DXC and CC had done a few weeks ago, CCI is now posting a list of Matt Groening's five favorite episodes. Linky schplinky. Unfortunately his list doesn't come with all the yummy substance that DXC's did. All five episodes are streaming online at on CC's website (although I know all of you already have them). Interesting to note that both lists so far have featured The Prisoner of Benda. I find the most interesting episode appearing on Matt's list to be I Dated A Robot, which isn't usually considered a stellar episode by fans.

wait, was that Lord of the Rings music playing during the clip where Fry talks about his egg?
I was actually wondering if Fry talking about his own baby-ness in that same clip would be a lead-in to those flashbacks DXC promised in his interview.

Except Godfella's. That is one of my least liked episodes of all time. I don't know why everyone loves it so much. Because it is a well-written episode? It has character and it has a message. That's why we like it. It is exactly the kind of intelligence we expect from Futurama.

What about worst episodes coming up? I don't have high hopes for either of the episodes premiering tonight (though that might just be a defense strategy on my part; by having super low expectations, chances are that I at least won't be disappointed), nor am I particularly excited about "The Silence of the Clamps." But you've got to admit that we're getting a tad bit cynical when we start preemptively trashing episodes that aren't airing for weeks.

Thanks for the links (I have been away what, 20 hours?). On the commercial, wow, thanks. :> I like Herbert Hoover appearing, expanding the president list. :P On Groening's favourite episodes, I was surprised about I Dates a Robot too. It is a good episodes, but not in my top five at all. I totally agree about the other four too, and I like how two season 6 eps have already gotten their way into many such lists. I also entirely agree about Godfellas, it has always been one of my favourite episodes, amazing writing, animation, music and... well, everything. Concerning the new Neutopia review, I'm glad to see a slightly more positive review, but I still don't have high hopes for this episode. My prediction of best episodes of the broadcast season: * Overclockwise - it seems very emotional, sci-fi and experimental. It may well be the TLPJF of this season. * Ghost in the Machines - has good potential as an emotional story, but cold also suck extremely if done wrong. * Benderama - in spite of the poor review I think this could go really well. Sounds fun. * Cold Warriors - a fun idea, and could be pretty shippy as well as funny. * All the Presidents' Heads Those I'm the most scared of include "The Silence of the Clamps" and "Neutopia", but I'm hoping for the best. Both Möbius Dick and Reincarnation almost made it to the list of best episodes, they both seem to have really good potential. Reincarnation especially could be an amazing episode, but it could also be extremely poor. :| I am extremely excited about this season, and the episodes tonight. I guess they will reach me here in Sweden at first at about 6 or 7 am, so we'll see if I'm still up then or if I get up early tomorrow morning. Unfortunately I'm going away over Midsummer (until Saturday) tomorrow morning, so I really hope I don't have to wait that long.

Yo Leela Leela is another ep that really worries me. The plot "a main character becomes a big (movie) star and leaves her/his past life behind" seems done, and it seldom ends well. Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV worked so well because it seemed extremely natural - he didn't act, he sucked at acting, he was himself and people liked it. I can't see it done with Leela.
